Recorded 20 minutes of a basketball game and the battery is already half drained. Definitely would not buy again.

Its an alright battery. I bought two. However the battery when paired with my FDR-AX53 only lasted 2 hours and 19min(Probably because of higher voltage) and sometimes the times on how long it said it would last would change in the middle of recording. One minute it says 1hr 30min left and the next minute it says 59min remaining. Still for the price I think its good, however I would spend more on an actual battery instead of this one but if you're on a budget this will do just fine :)

Anyone who shoots video knows you have to have plenty of memory, and plenty of battery power. It almost took longer to charge than it did to ship. It gives me over an hour and a half of battery time, plus the 40-some minutes from the factory battery. Triple the battery life for a very inexpensive price. I may need to get another, as I have a six hour battery for my other Sony cam, but at this price, that is a very reasonable investment. It's advertised as having no memory, meaning you don't have to run it completely down to nothing those first few times. I can't speak to that, but if it's true, it will be a great battery for all my filming needs.

This was a replacement battery for my Sony Camcorder and it has extended life. Since I use a still camera and video to support my work, I find that the extended battery is very helpful when I am away from a charging location. the speed of delivery and were outstanding. thank you.

I would have given it a 5 star, but I thought I was getting the exact same size as the one I purchased with the camera. It is working just fine.
