This mirror provides a great view of what is behind you while on your bicycle. It is easy to install. Weak spot is where mirror attaches to its ball pivot. The mirror tends to break at this point.

Just purchased a 3rd Cateye mirror, this one for my new recumbent bike. Other two are on my cruiser bike and my wife's hybrid, these are 4 or 5 years old. Mirror is easy to install at the handlebar end, is very adjustable, and works on must about any shape handlebar (I have one mounted on a handlebar extension, works just fine.) Haven't managed to break any of them yet, so they must be pretty sturdy :-)

I just swapped out my old Mirrcycle mirror for this one due to it's larger mirror and smaller (narrower) profile. Overall I really like it. It gives a great view and the mirror is not over "fisheyed" so you get a good view without excessive distortion and that "objects appear closer..." thing you get with other fisheye mirrors.The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that, no matter how tight you tighten the screws, the slightest amount of vibration (I usually ride on a paved greenway) will bounce it out of position and I'm finding I have to reach up and readjust it about every 2-3 minutes. I can't imagine this mirror working well in an off-road scenario at all.Overall, the price is right, mounting is a breeze, and the mirror itself is great. If I could find a way to make this mirror stay in place, it would be perfect.

Salgo a andar en bicicleta con mi hija y mi esposa. Este es un artículo indispensable en cualquier ruta urbana. Se ajusta de manera facilísima y tiene una resistencia y acabados muy buenos. La instalación no es complicada y cuando menos a los manubrios de una Alubike y de una Specialized les quedó muy bien.Si ustedes salen a andar por las calles instalen este espejo y de inmediato notarán la diferencia en seguridad al poder ver los vehiculos a través del espejo.

This is the second of these CatEye mirrors that I have purchased. I had the first for around 3 years and loved it. Unfortunately, plastic doesn't always survive hitting hard rock...This mirror is great for both when riding on roads and on pathways. Having a view into what is approaching from behind is very important. On more than one occasion I have been able to avoid potential nastiness with this mirror.So the details on why it is the right choice for my bike. It attaches easily to the bike. I did have to cut a hole in the grip at the end, but I have seen that many grips these days have punch-outs at the end, so this might not be a problem for you. It attaches very securely. Once I have tightened it to the bike, it stays. And lastly, it gives a good field of vision.

Junk in every way! Although I was put on notice by other buyer's reviews, I liked the styling and had to try this mirror. It does not hold its adjustment well, and the glass fell out after a bump.
