These actually work pretty well. The sound of the product sounds as good as it possibly can in the hands of a 5 year old. They are easy to use and the kids love them!

If I were a kid with this in my hands, being a brat a times, I would have had a blast with this. Especially to tease my siblings, and my baby sitters. Wee.... But I grew and became a musician.Reading other people's reviews, I can't find one (1) review from a musician, or anyone musically inclined. The problem is...when you blow and slowly move the slide, it STICKS. Now if I apply more force, it will move, but not the way it should. Think about a trombone - in your imagination, how would the trombone sound if it stuck while the trombonist tries to play a smooth, note SMOOTH, change. It should be an uninterrupted flow of ever increasing frequency changes.I rated this in the middle.For the kids and without shipping damages, it's a five.For the musically gifted, and kids also, it's a 2, maybe. Amazon's Choice is based on critics who are probably tone deaf.
