The product picture is misleading. The picture makes it look like there are two paddles. This is for ONE paddle. I believe the picture is the front and back of the paddle area. As far as two piece, this does NOT break down to a smaller size. You can adjust the length of the paddle at the handle to be longer, but there is no way to make the actual paddle length shorter.

I really love Boardworks products and I hate to leave a negative review. This paddle did not last 90 days before it broke in half. What is more concerning is that Boardworks has not returned and of the 8 emails or 2 voicemails left. Now the voice mail system is full. Again, if you expect any kind of support from Boardworks you may be out of luck. They may even be out of business. I have a Boardworks stand up paddle board and I love it. I am disappointed to leave this king of review for them.
