I made it work for my application on a Gokart but if this was intended for a boat I would return it.(1)Carriage Bolts in the package said they were 100mm long, they are too long and not 100mm but 150mm I know this because I ordered 70mm to replace them and ended up being to short, so if they were truely 100mm they would have been perfect.(2)For Circular 1 inch bar, they slip and slide and do not stay fixed. I tried using grip tape to help which didn’t work. I was originally going to tape center of brackets and pole and put a bolt through the middle but the bolt size is incorrect as mentioned above.

I like the unit, it fits on the back of my little pontoon boat it looks neat. My only problem is the bolt pattern is too close and it won't fit over the square tubing on my Boat rail so I only use two Bolts instead of 4 but it's working OK.

The length of the screws are too long and am afraid someone will hurt themselves if they come alongside of the boat. Other than that, 5 stars.

Good quality product; however, the bracket would not go around my 1.5 inch diamer round tow bar. The description states it will fit up to 2.5 inch round rails. Did i get the wrong bracket?

I ordered the Flag and pole which comes with a universal type clamp. It was an easy set up. The Pole can be taller than what is in my pic. I didn’t use one of the sections as I wanted it to Fly a bit lower. The flag is mounted on my Pontoon and was a great addition for Memorial Day and for the up coming July 4. The clamp is easy to attach to the boat railing. No drilling required! Great Product and very well built.
