Bought a pair and found that they work very well! Protect you tie down strap from abrasion with a pair of these. Love how they have protected my BoatBuckle straps! One of the best little items I have bought in a long while for my boat/trailer!

I had to return them as there was not enough room to instal them but, the idea is perfect and the quality seems very good, a solid buy I think. If I ever bought another boat that could use these, I would buy this brand for sure.

I put them on the retractable tie-down straps on my boat trailer. They protect the straps where they would rub on the stern/hull weld. Easy to use. Sturdy. They discolour from rubbing on the aluminum weld but I don't care. They are there to protect the straps.

I ordered these boat buckles padsto keep from having my rachet straps fraying from contact with the metal on my aluminum fishing boat. I chose the 1” width straps and found that it appears they could even be used with up to 1 3/4” straps. Plenty of choices for my use. I have the 2” wide boat buckles pads I have used on wider rachet straps to hold my aluminum canoes down on my trailer for over ten years now, no discoloration and still pliable!

I have a PWC and first I wasn’t sure it would not work but I’m glad I purchased it because it works great and I don’t worry about my PWC getting scratched!

Bought a set of 2” pads for my 2” transom straps. Whilst they do fit on the straps nicely, they were a @#$& to get over the transom hooks on the end of the straps. Needless to say they are not going to fall off by themselves. If it will require replacement down the road, I would probably buy the large size next time.

Work great in conjunction with boat buckle straps. Make sure you research and get the right size. I've had no problem with slipping down or cutting in even with a sharp angle caused by extended transom on my 2014 Crestliner Sportfish SST where SST is space saving transom which puts the outboard and hold down points 1 ft behind the reg transom which was the reason I purchased these pads due to the sharp welded angle the straps are on.

ONE PROBLEM: If you buy the 2" model, don't expect them to work on a 2" tie-down. The 2" model would work for a 1" tie-down. The 3" model would work for a 2" tie-down. Not expecting that, I purchased the wrong size. The listing is a bit misleading. Amazon's return service is pretty decent, though, so I have the correct size on its way at no extra expense to me. Aside from that, these are just what I need for my project. Good construction and decent materials.
