I had never heard of these, but they are definitely handy to keep wax off of my wooden candlesticks. Just so you know - they do not have a bottom inside the center; they sit right along the edge of the hole in the candlestick. Some wax could probably get down in there but I won't burn the candles that much. They were well packaged in styrofoam with slots.

I would like to have only purchased perhaps 4, but this is the set that was available. I like to set the mood of the holidays with slim, elegant taper candles. Some of them are terrible with running drips and while I don't keep the candles "unattended" I also don't want wax running down and ruining my table linens or tabletops. These fit the bill.
