I found this cord too loose for most macrame projects, especially wall hangings. It's so loose that the threads separate too easily. It snags, it frays, and the final project lacks definition - it just kind of hangs there looking bunchy. Definitely not worth $32 CAD.

This is excellent cord for macrame. It is strong but easy to work with. I dyed some of the light cord & itcame through with flying colors. I was worried this single strand cord would start to come apart if I dyed it but it held up very well.

I’m making a chandelier that only requires 280 yds of material, but I had to order an extra one of these spools just to finish my project because the length I received was VASTLY different than advertised. The description says 215 yds but I bought two spools and each one measured out to only 130 yds! So incredibly disappointed in the value of this product because it’s making my project cost another $22 than it should have. Had I known the real measurements I would have shopped for something of better value. I will say that the cord is a beautiful color and I’m excited to see my finished chandelier because the cord is so lovely. But I would further add that the last 2 yds of one of the spools was absolutely unusable because it was snagged the entire length of the cord. Incredibly unfortunate and frustrating. I would absolutely recommend purchasing from a different brand.

Beautiful color and texture. Great quality, easy to knot and unknot. I bought it for macramé. I can't decide for which project use it first. A purse, a plant hanger a wall hanging. I love it.This 3 ply 4 mm cotton cord is as great as the other Bochiknot products.

I ordered the olive 3mm single strand macrame cord for a custom color request from a client of mine. The feel of the cord is so soft and wonderful to work with. The color of the olive is just stunning and can work with so many other color tones to make many beautiful macrame pieces.

This is my first time to use this cord and it has well exceeded my expectations: easy to knot with, does not get tangled easily,smooth handling and appearance,sturdy and it combs out well.

This cord was soft on the hands to work with. I bought lavender, it’s very subtle and you can see pinks and blues… small bits throughout. It at times can look almost grey… but it is definitely it lavender. I made a Boho purse.. as pictured. I really liked working with this cord, the sizing of the cord didn’t vary as much as in other brands I have used and was fairly consistent in its 4mm size throughout. It also kept the “twist” as other brands I used were unraveled in spots throughout the roll. Loved working with this cord… Definitely recommend!!!!!

Just got the 1st of 5 new colors of the 3mm Rainbow Cord line. I did up a quick spiral knot keychain to see how it knots and combs out and I am not disappointed. Took me just a few minutes to make it. I like to split up the cord for the wrap knot at the bottom and I was able to do so very easily. The bottom combed out quickly without any trouble. The cord allows you to trim it without having to comb it several times. It took just one snip with my black Bochiknot scissors and I was finished. I've loved every product from this company...you will not be disappointed. I can't wait for the other 4 colors to get here so I can work them into upcoming projects I have in mind. :-)

So yes, it’s super soft. BUT, it’s riddled with imperfections - little strings coming out all over, what can only be described as chunks of lint imbedded in with the strands, and the consistency is bad - some of its nice and round, parts ar flat, some portions thicker than others.For the price, I expected a much better product. I am stuck with the two rolls since I started a project that requires both. I’m having to cut pieces out and thrown them away, just to get to good strands I can use. Should have enough for two projects but I’ll be lucky to have enough for one now.Requesting a partial refund, and returning the other colors I purchased. If I were you, I’d steer clear of this stuff.

This cord is a gorgeous color, very soft and much thicker than it appears in the picture. The reason I gave it only 4 stars overall instead of 5 is because the description states it's supposed to have 150 yards (450 feet) of rope. My pattern called for 360 feet, so this should have been plenty. The spool I received had only 330 feet 6 inches of rope. NOW I HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER SPOOL?? NOT HAPPY!!!

In my limited experience in macrame, I have found Bochiknot macrame cord to be absolutely wonderful! This is not my first purchase from them and previously I gifted some natural color cord to my daughter who has far more experience than myself. She absolutely love the quality. This has a nice feel to it and as expected is also of high-quality. When I frayed out the end, I was surprised at the softness. Color is beautiful but I had a difficult time choosing between blush and Dusty Rose, or maybe it was called Dusty pink... Anyway, in hindsight, I think I would have preferred the other color that leans more towards pink rather than orange. That having been said, this is absolutely beautiful. There are flecks of different colors, most noticeably yellow, that is mixed throughout but in my view does not detract from its beauty.

The service from this company it was nice but I would like others customers to be aware that buying from Marketplace you are risking having problems with the returns You have to pay them. My advise is take marketplace case by case before you buy anything take the proper information. Myself being a Prime customer never have problems returning items. Always easy and not money lost.Beside the hazard of the return $$ or handling fees charged.The product was nice, the service and wrapping very classy but I will not buying again because it is hard to see the real colour.Keep safe.

I may have found my new favorite macrame cord.I ordered 3 rolls in two colours (rose gold and silver fox). While I was disappointed when one roll arrived without the sparkle thread running through it, I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement for the roll without hesitation. Other then that little issue with the order I am absolutely thrilled with this cord.The colours are so beautiful. I’ve been searching for a nice pink cord for months and the rose gold is exactly the colour I’ve been looking for and the gold thread is such a nice subtle touch of something special. The silver fox is a perfect light warm grey and again that little bit of silver makes it extra special.The cord is soft and easy to work with. I’ve already gone through about half of one spool of rose gold and about a third of the silver fox and haven’t come to a join or any areas that are frayed or in any way unusable.Also something small but meaningful was the personalized note I received with my order along with little bonus of a couple wood rings to make plant hangers with and samples of their other colours which was such a helpful thing to include.I will absolutely be ordering more as soon as I can decide what colours I want to try next!
