These seemed a bit off for 18mm.They do the job if your not sensitive to acrylic, just really depends on your preference.

These are good quality but I'm not positive the sizing is correct. I got 1/2" tapers, went in surprisingly smooth. But when I tried to switch to other pairs of the same gauge, the new ones were really hard to get in.

these were deinitely not 18mm. i measured with a digital caliper and they were 16.xx at the widest part of the body. i will be returning these immediately. flase advertisement angers me.--i started a return but the seller took quite a while to get back to me and out of frustration i threw these in the garbage and cancelled the return.to my surprise i was contacted by customer service and they issued a no nonsense refund and apologized sincerely. that's quite outstanding. updated to 3 stars.
