PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These tuners feature a thumbwheel locking function to keep your strings securely in place. This prevents string slippage and also enables you to cut off your excess string. You don't have to wrap the string around the posts several times like you do with an non locking machine tuner. Simply thread the string though the hole in the peg, then twist the thumbwheel to secure it in place. Simple and effective, and speeds up re-stringing.
The new sleek design and smooth 1:18 gear ratio give you a great combination of tuning stability, accuracy and good looks.
These tuners have a sealed housing & mounting screw hole at 45 degrees.
With heavy duty internal gear, sturdy and convenient. The guitar will not off key if you lock the screw post when tune the guitar properly. Easy to install, great replacement for your old or dirty guitar tuning pegs.

Normalmente tenia problemas con la afinación de mi equipo ya que las clavjas que traia perdian afinación, desde que cambie a estas se mantiene mayor tiempo y me ayuda a seguir tocando sin estar afinando seguido.son recomendadas solo que los tornillos que incluye muchas veces son mas delgados que los que traen las guitarras, per de ahi en fuera funcionan excelente son muy recomendadas si no quieres invertir en clavijas de renombre y mayor precio

If you're constantly futtsing with your tune,maybe your machines are crap. A set of Bogarts is a cheap and easy upgrade to save sanity. Set n forget. They look pretty good too.

Feels like there's a little gap ,loose when turned not on all but felt it on a few... Next time ill spend twice the money... still works ok but there's doubt now !!!

I installed these on an ESP LTD 201B Viper. Fit perfectly, no modifications needed. I learned if you tighten the thumb wheel too tight it cuts right through the string. So, try not to overtighten. Stays in tune OK, but not as good as most Grovers or other name brands do.Makes string changes faster, but will have to retune after a few songs it seems.

So the guitar was my first guitar that I bought 20 years ago, and it has sentimental value to me. It's a great little guitar other than the junky tuners that were on it. So I decided to take it out of the closet, upgrade the tuners and give it some TLC. These tuners were just what the doctor ordered. Great price and they do exactly what I they're supposed to do. Locking tuners should be an absolute minimum feature on any hardtail guitar. I'll never accept anything less again.

I mean, they're no Grover's, but for the price, they seat good on the headstock, there isnt any play in them when fully tightened on and screwed in, unlike some tuning machines I've used. They lock down nice and tight, and dont feel like theyre stripping or anything, even on my acoustic's super thick low E. All in all, I'm very pleased with this purchase

This was a blind purchase, I thought $30 odd dollars was probably too affordable to be true... Installed them on a cheap IYV ILS-300 and it turned the IYV into a stable instrument.Very happy with them, solid, good looking, easy to install, easy to use. However I feel you need to tighten the high E string very hard or it will slip in the locking mechanism (with 10-46 D'addarios).

I bought a Budget guitar at a pawn shop to toy around with and the tuning machines that came with it really sucked. constantly going out of tune. I replaced them with these tuners and once the strings quit stretching, they keep tunes very well. I play pretty aggressive too.Very solid feeling tuners. easy to install. I had never used tuners with the lock system on the back. took me a bit to figure out what it was. Guess all my other guitars are not modern enough.

I installed these machine heads on my Hofner Shorty (that comes with terrible and unstable machine heads), the Bogart Locking Machine Heads work perfectly. I get easier tuning ability and higher tune stability.
