They will work, BUT,The package came in a small plastic ziploc type bag and packaged in an amazon packet. Due to this and the very thin and flimsy leads, they all came bent so expect to have to bend them back into order when you use them. The plastic is noticeably cheap and brittle. The socket pins that you plug your ICs into are unnecessarily tight, making it difficult to plug your IC in and out without the risk of damage.

Poorly made, poorly designed. Really annoying to have to straighten out all the bent leads on these sockets. And they are really cheap and flimsy.

14 pin DIP socket – spring clamp type – work great This are good quality spring clamp type 14 pin DIP sockets. This is a good bulk price for this amount of sockets. These ARE NOT the more expensive type of so called “Machined” DIP sockets. I don’t do critical need projects and I have never used nor tested the so called “Machined” DIP sockets.
