This is a great well made scoop that I have used often because I have very clay soil and must mix wheel barrows of amended soil. I spend hours getting the clay broken up adding peat moss, mulch, etc. I had another scoop that last for years with broke by bending from the handle as I was mixing soil in my wheel barrow. The new scoop is sturdy and should last for years and a necessity for scoop mulch/peat/garden soil/planting mix from bags and mixing all together in my wheel barrow.

Very sturdy and well made. I have arthritis in my hands & I love the comfort grip, the larger size of the shovel, and especially the serrated edge. It allows me to open bags of soil, mulch, etc...without carrying scissors. When I (thought) lost my first spade, I ordered a replacement...then I found the “misplaced” one...now I have one for each garden!

Love the comfortable handle, wish the blade was a bit larger and serrated on both sides, but otherwise this is a great trowel. Have been using it for some serious rework of a garden area and it is wonderful to work with and not hard on my hands.

Bond Manufacturing may regret making this Stainless Steel Series Serrated Trowel with Gel Grip Handle because it's built so well it could last a gardeners lifetime! Being a small individual most garden tools don't fit my use. This garden trowel works great for my hands, and its built to work for larger hands too. The gel grip handle prevents my hands from cramping or aching when using the trowel, and I never get blisters! The strong stainless steel handle and the spade part are so well made that I've dug under, and wedged up, large stones and .the serrated edge has even cut through tree and plant roots of 1 1/2 " in diameter.

This little trowel is an amazing gardening tool. I have been searching for a serrated edge trowel for months and I'm delighted with it.

Scoop capacity is great for planting/transplanting larger plants--good size to move material when filling pots. Scoop is SS and should last for a long time. Overall, very sturdy and good handle length--I would buy again.

I purchased this over 2 years ago and forgot that I purchased it from Amazon. I often do gardening and clean ups for public gardens and try to keep all my tools the same so I can easily ID them. But have received a lot of compliments on this scoop. I purchased a different one for my mom and she commented that she wanted mine because it was sturdy and big. It is sturdy and I love that these are not so "practical" looking. I wish they made more of their tools to match these.

A great wide trowel for multiple uses. The serrated edge opens plastic soil bags and cuts small roots with ease. It is a solid comfortable trowel with an excellent grip. Wide enough to use for cutting/ digging soil from a bag and moving it to a planter or ground hole. The serrated edge cuts through a peat moss bale like butter. The trowel is heavy duty and does not bend during use. Love the handle design, fits like a glove.
