A great way to get my quilting strips straight and even.

This seems like it would have been a nice item, but it arrived broken in multiple places. Some sort of better packaging seems called for. Despite that, it is still generally usable, and definitely a good idea - I often have trouble with keeping rotary cutters going in a straight line, and this fixes that problem handily.

May not be as nice as the -ology ruler but it is just as good as other inexpensive strip cutting rulers I’ve seen in stores. Makes cutting fabric a lot easier, and now I’m considering finding one in a larger size. Really nice for preparing strips for quilt blocks as well as strips for binding.

I've wanted a slotted ruler but didn't want to spend the money on them so thought I'd give this one a try. In a side by side comparison to the more expensive brand ruler, I find this one much harder to read. The numbers printed in the dark pink are not as easy to read as those in black on clear acrylic ruler. The 2nd difference is in the thickness and stiffness of the acrylic. The name brand acrylic is a bit thinner and slightly easier to get your blade into the slots. The first one arrived broken so I returned it for a new one that arrived in good condition. Although it is quite thick, I'd recommend storing this flat to prevent damage. There a lots of lines so you really have to pay attention to where you're cutting. But that gives you the option to cut the strip to exact width you want. Rotate the ruler 90 degrees to subcut the strip into squares. I tested by cutting1/2 inch squares, as well as 1 1/2 in squares, and some rectangles and all were cut exactly to size. And for both, you'll want to use a fresh rotary blade to be sure you cut through the fabric cleanly.Overall, this is an affordable option for a slot ruler. Time will tell if this is going to be something I use a lot but it's nice to have it available in my sewing room.

If you’ve ever struggled with shifting rulers, inconsistent cuts, or the time-consuming process of moving your ruler after each strip, this ruler is about to change the way you work. The 26 pre-cut slots allow for fast, precise cutting without repositioning—just place, slice, and go! That’s ten times the speed of traditional rulers. And, if you’ve ever made bias tape by hand, you know how tedious it can be. The angled measurement guides at 30°, 45°, and 60° ensure accurate bias cutting in seconds, perfect for quilt bindings, garment trims, and decorative edges. The acrylic is thick and sturdy, with high-visibility grid markings that stand out on both light and dark fabrics. And with non-slip silicone grips, you don’t have to worry about sliding when using a rotary cutter—making this a safer, more efficient tool. Not just for quilting, this ruler is an excellent all-around sewing room essential, perfect for precise measuring and fabric preparation in a compact, efficient design. If you’re serious about saving time and improving accuracy, this is the ruler you should buy.Happy sewing! 🧵✂️

This cutting ruler is made of sturdy plastic that does not move when you cut using the slots like some do. It comes with no slip dots to add stability. With slots every 1/2 inch you can cut multiple strips or squares easily and quickly. Works well with cutters of all types.

If you don't really know whether you need this, you don't. It looks cool, but it really is just for a guide for a rotary cutter to make cuts in fabric at specific angles. If you're not regularly doing that, then such a specific tool is just taking up space. However, if this is what you needed, then you've found it! I don't even know what to compare it to, but it is well built enough and flexible that I think it will last a while .Thank you!
