We were using some pendant light fixtures above our kitchen island, but we changed over to this light fixture. We get a lot more compliments on this light fixture than our other pendant light fixtures. It puts out plenty of light and it works perfectly in the kitchen. It does not come with bulbs, but we used some Edison style led bulbs that we had, and they work great. It's a simple but modern design that pulls together our decor as our house is a modern farmhouse. Love it. I will update my review should anything change.
