After reading some of the reviews I was a little scared the plants would arrive unhealthy or dead, but surprisingly they arrived it great condition and well packaged. So happy with this purchase

I ordered 4 types of plants from Bonnie Plants at the same time and had excellent results with thyme, jalapanos, and sweet mint. The Lavender, however, was delivered 5 days after the other herbs I ordered, and were completely wilted on arival. I tried planting them anyway and watering to see if they could bounce back, but they are definitely dead. Very disapointing. The plants also looked like they were pretty pathetic even if they hadn't taken so much longer in the mail and weren't of the same quality as the other stuff I ordered. The shipping taking longer may have been an issue as well, but either way this was not good value. Basically threw away money on the lavendar.

I ordered 2 packs of 4 lavender plants, for a total of 8 plants. When the plants arrived, 3 of them were already dead. I hurriedly got the rest into the ground, as I wanted them to have the best chance of surviving. in the next 3 days, 3 more plants died. So out of a request for 8 plants, I have two plants that are currently surviving. Don't know what the problem was. The plants were well packed. No damage there. But I am extremely disappointed.

I was surprised to see the clam shell covers on each plant. These mini greenhouses can be repurposed for new plants and protected the plants better than the plastic bags from other companies. The plants, themselves, look very healthy and smell very good. ( Lavender and Rosemary) The plants were a little shorter than I expected but appears very healthy. The Rosemary were bigger than I expected and again, look very healthy.Update: 2 out of 8 lavender plants are not doing well half the plant died off. They did not recover from shipping and died back. The remaining 6 are still a pretty green The Rosemary still looks great.

Order of four Lavender plants which arrived well packed. Two were in distress and appeared water logged, another was half dead and may survive with a cut back. Good news is the fourth is looking healthy and is growing. UPDATE: Bonnie Plants did send another two plants to replace the dead/dying and they arrived Saturday PM...by Sunday AM I was trying to keep them alive...they arrived wilted and thin, although the soil was wet. UPDATE 2: The replacement plants did not survive 36 hours.

I received my shipment on scheduled time and when the 4 plants arrived, they were in very poor shape. Within a day from nurturing these plants they completely died. I contacted customer service and the 6 things required is too much trouble. The claim they have no access to my order from Amazon (which I can't understand since they emailed me from my request for refund) a special note, I ordered many other plants same time from other vendors and everyone came packaged perfectly and in great shape. Bonnie's plants only one that was in bad shape.

I have received totally dead or dying lavender plants for three replacement shipments. Half of the first plants were dead in my initial order. The company has been replacing the plants without any hassle. But it seems to be wasted effort with these delicate lavender plants. I believe the unusually humid weather is responsible. Also, the extreme heat has increased bug activity. Out of 3 shipments of 4 plants, I only have one live plant left. The battle to keep that one alive is real. This is a rare occurrence for this company. I have ordered from them for years. The plants have always arrived in good shape in the past.Shipping live plants is risky. You have weather, shipping delays, and the time factor to work against. Yet, most plants from Bonnie Plants arrive healthy. I gave only one star, not because of the company, but the lavender specifically. They are not surviving shipping these days. Avoid the frustration and order hardier plants. Ones that can tolerate being too wet or dry for a short while, ones with larger, thicker leaves, and heat lovers will be best right now. Most plants from this company arrive lush, healthy, and beautiful. For the other times when weather or transport problems damage the plants, customer service is prompt and hassle-free. I highly recommend buying plants from this company.

Ordered 12 plants total. 4 came in one carton, 8 in another. Opened the carton of 4 first and was very impressed with the packaging and quality/health of the plants. They even included a single use packet tube of Miracle Grow with the 4 plant pack. The carton of 8 was a different story. Of the 8, 6 looked dehydrated and half dead. The packaging was the same, but its obvious they were not healthy plants to begin with. I planted all 12 within an hour of receiving them. Have watered them religiously and the healthy 6 look fine, but the unhealthy 6 appear to have worsened and I am sure are going to die. You can't send these back or get a refund, it appears, so be aware you will likely only get, at best, half the number of good plants as you order. I'll also note that with the 8 plant pack, there was just 1 single use packet of Miracle Grow included. I suppose they knew we wouldn't need a second packet because more than half of that box were dying plants.
