Originally grown in South Europe, Lemon Balm is often used in combination with other herbs & is frequently found in poultry & fish dishes, desserts, & teas. It also makes a nicely scented sachet. Plant a lemon Balm plant beside a gate so that when the gate opens & closes the Lemony scent fill the air. This plant is very attractive to bees & has been used by beekeepers to Help keep bees in place. Like other types of mint, it likes to spread, so a container is a great choice.

The smell is so potent and that means it's a great healthy plant. I was so surprised to receive these all alive and healthy! I'll definitely be buying more. I actually ended up planting them in a planter and the growth was insane! Mint is a crazy perineal so it really quickly spread I was so happy. A million times I will buy from this company again.

I should have taken pictures when I first received the plants but they were half dead. The majority of the leaves were Brown but the stems were still green despite my best efforts to keep them alive and make them thrive again and after following the instructions on the packaging they have all died. I wouldn't purchase these again and the only reason I did is because I couldn't get lemon balm anywhere locally at this time of the year.

So because it's not the Most Positive Review I feel like there's a 50/50 Chance Amazon won't Post It at All because that's Happened Before & is why I Usually don't Bother to Rate Anything Anymore.π
But I Bought the 4 Pack & Only these 2 Survivors made it, The Other 2 plants were Dead on Arrival & it was a Shame because I've Loved the Bonnie Plants I've Found at Walmart & Such but They arrived in Worse Condition than I Expected. π I Understand that the Trip can be Hard on a Plant but What I Received was 2 Functional Plants & 2 Corpses & I would Fight about It but Lemon Balm is too hard to find otherwise & I'm just Happy I got 2 that Lived for the Price π
I had to Replant them Immediately & Fight the Gnats they Came With but Otherwise they're Good & It Could've been Worse π

Somehow one of these well packed and beautiful plants dumped about half its soil. I'm not sure the roots are completely healed, but have hopes or will recover before spring time. They have all lived, have healthy green look except the one that lost soil, that little guy has a sad limp now aching downward in an arch-like toward one side. The three others stand proud, seem full of life, ready for the winter and eager for spring. I wish I could receive a replacement for the soil distributed, limping, little guy. The others put him to shame.I recommend purchased plants from here as long as they are handled with care. Hope this helps you.Happy planting! π
