Summary: I was thrilled at first with my increased endurance, but came to realize they don’t fit well and require lots of custom padding to prevent blisters.I’ve put approximately 500 miles on them, wearing them for about 40 skates this season. I have been in-line skating for about 30 years (mostly outdoor recreational/speed) and this is my first 3 wheeled skate.Pros:Increased endurance. I feel I can go twice as far than my old 90mm 4 wheeled skates with the same effort. Wind is not as big of a resistance factor. This is why I kept the skates. I wish there was something better out there, but I didn’t find them. RB brand’s comparable model was way worse. I haven’t figured out if I’m faster. Maybe slightly.Customer service was helpful with 1 defective skate. I felt a bump under the toes and it seemed to throw off my foot and cause pain to my outer foot. I wanted to keep the good skate and Bont worked with me to send me a replacement prior to me sending back the defective skate without money exchanged, even though I purchased through Amazon.I do like the wheels/bearings and will probably purchase replacements when needed. The bearing being higher from the ground than smaller wheels probably keeps it a bit cleaner.Cons:I wanted a skate with a brake and lacing system- neither for this skate. I did find that if you lace them going over, not under as they came, they are easier to tighten. Still, I feel like they are either loosy goosy or circulation-cutting tight. It’s hard to get it just right without a quick-lace feature. *The instructions say to take out the waxed laces prior to heat molding and it wasn’t until I asked customer service did I find out this model is NOT heat-moldable, despite what the included instructions led me to believe. I hope I never have to emergency stop going down the bridge hill on my route.I will never by unisex skates again. A woman’s foot is not built the same as a man’s. I suspect a man’s foot was used for the mold. It’s too wide in areas and this causes bad blisters. I experimented over time to get a proper fit with socks and padding. See image. I cut a dense foam piece cut into a rounded triangle and wedged into the heel void. No arch support- I added the soft foam sponge half circles with velcro. There is a lot of padding around the ankle, but for some reason, I still get chaffing and blisters without thick, cuffed socks. The Zeefit alone bunched up under my heel and I still got blisters through it. I need extra toe socks s or blisters. Not much padding under your foot. I tried a thin whole foot insert, but then the boot felt too short. For this reason, I feel they are overpriced. I don’t believe they are too long- I think they are too wide in areas. I wish I had the luxury of testing the next size down, but I think that wouldn’t fix the fit.I don’t love that the front clip is always in my way when I lace the skates. It wouldn’t be that difficult to design that flap with a crease so it bends out of the way. Sure, you can stick it into another part of the hardware, but it doesn’t really stay- just slightly annoying. After some miles, I noticed a creaky sound from the plastic parts when I am in an uphill posture. Details like these make the difference between well designed/engineered and cheap. All in all, I expected a bit more for the high price. I do enjoy using them, now that I customized the fit.

"Well I'll be dipped in 💩 and rolled in cornbread!" Lol, I'm just really surprised is all. I'm 40 and didn't know anything like this even existed in the area of inline skating. What's even more jaw dropping is what I discovered when I started going over the little instruction booklet that came with them."Heat Molding Instructions"Say what!?"Bont's epoxy resin is the most heat moldable boot resin on the market. Please take the time to mold your boots before use. The boot can be heat molded using your oven or a hair dryer."Then the instructions go on giving detailed instructions on how to do so. Anyway, that sure is a good example of why it can be important to read the instructions for things first. If you are someone who's new to this like I was and you just threw on the inline skates without reading the instructions, you could have missed that whole experience. Not to mention how much more comfortable they can be after doing that.Well, I can't say for sure these are the best inline skates on the planet as I haven't even tried any of the competition's skates or boots. From what I've learned so far, it sure is leaning that way though. Here's something Bont (the brand that produces these) says in the beginning of the instruction booklet:"With over 40 years of racing heritage, experience and expertise, our boot makers are the World's best."One thing I can say for sure is, Bont certainly is the real deal.
