This was my first kit like this, and I loved the process and the end result. The furniture, books, and picture frames are so cute. The wood panels for the furniture & walls are way thicker than some other ones I've seen. I did have issues with getting the lights in the correct spots. It was implied somewhere in the description that glue was included, which was not the case. I used craft glue with a fine tip attached to the nozzle. For my next one, I'm definitely busting out the glue gun for holding the light wires in place (the tape included for that purpose was sub-par). It's also worth mentioning that the paper book covers and other printed items need to be cut out with scissors (my mom just finished a greenhouse kit where the paper items were perforated and prescored, so no scissors needed). It's easy work, though - the paper is high quality, and most of the shapes are rectangles. The delicate laser-cutting on the panels made it a bit tricky to get the walls together. Overall, super fun and addictive. I'm getting another one.

I gave this Book Nook Kit as a Christmas gift to my 28-year-old sister, who is an avid reader and loves anything that adds charm to her bookshelf. She absolutely loved it! The kit is a fun and creative way to combine her love for books with her interest in unique home decor. The build was enjoyable for her, and she was thrilled with the end result. The miniature wooden dollhouse design is intricate and adorable, and the LED light adds a beautiful touch that makes it even more special when displayed on her bookshelf. Excellent model kit with lots of detail. This kit was super fun to put together, and extremely detailed, yet still easy enough to follow along the directions and assemble--easy enough for my 6 yo daughter to help out and gain an interest in model making. Expect to have to use super glue, as everything will work better or require it for assembly. The wiring for the lighting and sensor was easy to install, though the tape they suggest using was relatively useless, I superglued the wires to the boards to keep them in place. All in all it was a blast and looks great on our bookshelf now.

It was first one ever and I will be buying another one. It was very detailed and easy to follow. At least for me.

This kit is much better than many I've used. Anyone who has done these kits probably know they aren't exactly easy to put together, but this has better instructions than most. Enjoyable to construct.
