Having spent 2 weeks in hospital. Needed a bookstand for my over bed tray at home. This is a very well constructed. Easy to use easy to swivel easy to twist in any direction that I need and fits perfectly on top of the bedtable. Made of substantial material and well constructed not flimsy. I am very pleased with it. It’s good for books iPhones iPads or anything you might need to read on and it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that are not needed and the construction is absolutely high quality.

I love having my cookbook or tablet propped up in the kitchen. It made it easier to see and refer to while I'm working.I ended up liking it so much that I took it to my desk in the end. I wanted to be able to put reference books and map books on it while I'm writing so I can quickly glance over and back to the screen. This was easy to setup and use. Light enough to move around. Very adjustable. A really great device.

I really like this book stand for its impressive durability and exceptional functionality. It’s easy to rotate or adjust the height effortlessly. The stand is sturdy and robust, reminiscent of Apple’s newest keyboard with its unique hinge design, which I believe is similar to this one. The combination of wood and metal gives it a beautiful appearance while remaining fully functional. It also comes with two paper holders that are easy to attach. The weight of the stand is just right, making it both stable and easy to move. I will make sure to get some pieces for our community center!

This a super nice book holder. I like the big size and how you can hold the pages down.Functionally: perfectOnly issue i see is the clicking sound as the book moves left and right.I would do away with that, but other than that everything is great! 👍

This has to be one of my favorite reading stands to use! It can handle bigger books too! But depending on the thickness of the book, sometimes it can't reach that far back without bending the prongs. Very good item!

This is a thoughtfully-made, high-quality book stand. It has a nice weight to it - especially at the metal base - which also helps prevent it from getting top-heavy after setting a large book or tablet on it. I love that there are 2 hinges so that you can both raise/lower your book AND angle it up/down. The hinges are fairly stiff and take some effort to adjust, but they don’t move under even a heavy textbook. There are also 2 arms to hold your device in place, keep a book open on the right page, or prevent your paper from flying away. The arms are also adjustable in 2 ways, so you can have them hold even the thickest books open, hold down a single small recipe card, rotate them out of sight, and move the arms to sit on the margins of your book so it’s not blocking any images or text. It also rotates on its base, so you can easily move around the kitchen and still have a good view of your recipe book or tablet.I ordered this to hold my handwritten notes while I type them to be more legible, but the bookstand has been immensely helpful in other areas as well. I can also use it to hold my books open while I’m annotating them for literature class, use it to keep my math textbook open while I work on problems, multi-task updating or installing things on my tablet while working on my computer, and watch cooking videos while making dinner and trying to follow along. Having it around has helped my posture a lot since I’m not looking down to copy notes, text, or math problems and I can sit up more when doing schoolwork. I think this is invaluable to anyone who still loves their physical books, students, and especially teachers. I only regret not ordering it sooner!

I am a HUGE reader. I honestly have given up watching TV altogether because I would so much rather read at night when I finally have a few minutes to myself than listen to loud noisy voices on the TV. The only downside to reading in bed is that I am constantly trying to find a way to precariously balance my book or Kindle so that I can stay cozy and relaxed in bed. This book stand is the perfect invention! You can adjust the height and angle of this stand to find your perfect viewing angle. The base rotates a full 360 degrees and arms that adjust the height can literally bend to the exact position you need. It is very sturdy and has a non-slip base that keeps it steady on any surface...including on top your blankets in bed. Simply rest your Kindle on the metal ledge, or prop your book and keep the pages opened and viewable with the handy clips that snap firmly into place. Best of all, this stand collapses and folds compactly for storage. I slide my right under my bed at night when I am done reading, so it doesn't take up space on my nightstand.

I'm giving this thing 5 of 5 stars even though I have one gripe because it has been such a life (and neck) saver for me that I can't believe I never thought to buy one before. As an english major, I am constantly citing texts for assignments and before this, just as often fighting books to stay open to the page I need while I typed. With this holder (which is holding my hardback Jane Eyre with ease), I am saving my neck from looking up and down and up and down, and I don't have to type with one hand and try to keep the book open with the other. My only gripe is that the arms are super stiff out of the box. It does come with a little wrench to loosen it, and I did loosen it one turn, but it's stilllllll really tight. The bolts are short, so I'm not confident how much I can loosen it before it becomes too much. Maybe it will get better with use, but adjusting it does require some force.
