I finally had enough of bending my neck while transcribing from a book to the computer. With this device, I have my book help up above my laptop screen allowing my head to be level and not at a constant tilt. The is a great purchase!

Perfect to keep your recipe out if the mess and above the cooking utensils, bowls, boxes etc. it folds down nicely and stores on a bookshelf or is attractive enough to leave out if you have the space for it.

I love it!! Its holds cookbooks open nicely and off the counter. I don’t know why I didn’t buy one years ago!!It’s a nice size and doesn’t take up a bunch of space. So easy to use!! Worth it!

I recently acquired a new study Bible and needed something to hold it in a position to read and study. This stand is sturdy and accommodates my need perfectly. I also liked that it was from a small business owner. One of the reasons that I buy from Amazon.

I needed something for my coding books which are heavy and floppy. I started with one but it was a bit too small for my needs. So I quickly decided I needed two. It's perfect for me. These are sturdy and although a bit small for my bigger book which causes the page holders to slip down, it's sturdy and withstands my flipping back and forth and occasionally slamming the book shut. I have to use both my hands to adjust the height and lean I want. It swivels nicely. As I stated before, it feels sturdy and well put together.

I'm still getting used to having this book stand, and remembering to use it when I want to hold a book open while I'm cooking or working in the kitchen... still hasn't all the way sunk in, that I don't have to prop my book open or worry about finding a dry spot on the counter to put it down. This device is a game changer!Two things I think could be improved, though -- the joints are a bit stiff, and require two hands to operate (this is more of a drawback for the rotating base than the hinges), and I think I would like it better if the upper part was wood, not aluminum. Don't get me wrong, it's great as-is, but I think wood would feel and look better. But if it's a choice between this aluminum model and nothing, get this!
