This compact fly fishing tippet leader storage case is great quality with a durable thick nylon shell and reinforced edges. The inside of the case has a pvc coated lining and the flap has a velcro closure to keep all inner contents safe & secure. There are two pockets with a reinforced mesh and nylon for use as storage areas. There are also two pockets that hold the thick plastic inserts the plastic bags are attached to which are removable. The openings on the plastic bags are only about 2 1/4" even though the entire zipper is 3 1/2" so the bags would be best used for holding loose spools of tippet and not the plastic spools unless they are very small in diameter. There is a tippet spool holder on the outer side of the case that consists of a hollow aluminum tube and dual elastic cords for holding plastic spools of tippet and leader. An elastic cord is located on the bottom edge of the case that along with the included carabiner can be used for securing the case to a bag or fishing vest, and the case is also small enough to fit inside a pocket on a fly fishing vest. I have some other fishing products from Booms Fishing Store and they are all great quality products. Therefore, based upon the quality and features of this fly fishing leader case I highly recommend it to all other fly fishermen out there.

This leader wallet is very well made, with durable stitching. It is a compact size but has lots of storage room. The ziplock enclosures are heavy duty plastic and open and close easily. The rod on the outside of the wallet for holding tippet secures tightly and functions well as intended. The carabiner that comes with the wallet is heavy duty and functions well. Very pleased with the quality and value.

This is a pretty basic hook and loop closure wallet. There are two inserts with 5 "ziplock" style storage pockets per insert, allowing for storage of several leaders or pre-tied rigs. These feel pretty sturdy and are still easy enough to open with wet fingers. There are two additional mesh pockets, one on each inner flap.The one thing I'm not sure I like about it is that when opened, the pockets are oriented in opposite directions. While you could easily align the plastic storage inserts, the mesh pockets both open toward the crease of the wallet. I would probably prefer for them to be oriented so that they face the same direction when the wallet is flat, but maybe there is a reason for the chosen design that I am not understanding. It's not enough of an issue to drop down a star for me, but it just seemed a little odd.The included carabiner makes for easy attachment to a life/fishing vest.

The Booms Fishing Leader Holder Wallet comes with ten clear/water proof pockets for your various sized tippets, a carabiner clip to attach to your fly vest and an adjustable tippet aluminum tube for additional tippet line spools.I like that this wallet keeps all of your tippet material in one area, its organized, and frees up a pocket on my vest for other fly fishing paraphernalia. If attached to the outside of the vest, the size of the wallet has a small footprint which should not interfere with your casting motion. The pockets are made of a thick, clear, plastic and the zip lock that seals them from water intrusion seems to be heavy duty. The outer part of the wallet is made of nylon with a Velcro closing strip that has a good grip to keep the wallet closed.My only issue is, the clear pockets are not large enough to hold most tippet original packaging making it hard to identify what sized tippet is in the pocket. One can use a permanent marker or tear the original tippet packaging and add it to the pocket (see second photograph.) No big deal but something that can be improved.Overall, I feel the price of $15.99 if very reasonable for what you get with this wallet. I recommend this product to others and will report back in the future of any issues.

This wallet is a nice idea. On the outside you can organize and have ready access (while fishing) to more sizes of tippet than I ever use on one trip. Inside, there are numerous ziploc clear bags to store leaders or flies (I think the leaders are the best use for this--I'll stick with boxes to organize my flies.) It's made of sturdy nylon canvas and comes with a carabiner to hang it on your vest or from a belt loop or belt.

Very nice leader wallet. Looks great and seems well constructed.Though I have been trying the Mad River / Flip Pallot "Leader you Never Have to Change", I have a lot of tapered leaders.I spent about an hour with my tapered leaders, measuring the tippet with a micrometer (found that some are incorrectly labeled), adding info cards (length and tippet size), and moving them to this wallet. With 2 empty leader pockets left, the wallet fattened up a bit to about 1" and is a far better storage than the ziplock plastic bag I was using holding bags of various leaders.The tippet holder is a good idea, but I generally don't like things swinging around on me so I will likely not use that feature for that purpose unless for only 2 or 3 sizes.The carabiner and attachment seems a little odd since it holds the wallet upside down but the hook and loop on the flap should keep things inside the wallet. jAll in all, a great product for $16.

Last summer my grandsons wanted to go carp fishing. I tied up some hair rigs with about 10 inch leaders and was looking forward to trying them out. They ended up getting so tangled up, that I had to cut them all apart. This wallet would have prevented this mess, and it will also be handy for any pre-tied leaders I need. I certainly plan to use it for both carp and catfish rigs. If you use pre-tied leaders, you should check this out. It would have saved me a lot of frustration last summer.
