About this item

  • WORLD CUP MODEL: Firmest - One Pair (two straps). Used by the world's winningest skiers. The Booster is worn by Olympians like Ted Ligety, Bode Miller and freeskier Peter Olenick.
  • INCREASE STABILITY: The Booster Strap wraps around the boot cuff top to secure the lower leg, eliminating the need to over-tighten buckles or laces. The Booster instantly improves ski and snowboard control by dynamically bonding the calf to the boot, providing increased rebound power and turn initiation precision.
  • EASY CLOSURE: All Models have a metal cam buckle for super-easy closure. This bootstraps with metal hardware if designed for all different types of Skiers.
  • COMFORTABLE STRAP: It is made of high strength elastomeric webbing with an anti-slip micro-adjustable cam buckle. The elastomer allows flexibility, vibration and shock damping. The cam buckle assures a better fit and more comfort.
  • SKI BOOT PERFORMANCE: An essential accessory for optimizing ski boot performance. It provides maximum ski boot performance and extraordinary ski control, increases comfort, eliminates the empty space between the boot tongue and shin, and aids in the prevention of shin bang and other boot injuries.

Booster Straps give you the maximum ski boot performance, extraordinary ski control and shin protecting shock-absorption. Dynamic elastic straps stretch, allowing you to cinch them super tight for an increase in performance. Your stock power strap does not lock you in like a Booster strap for an insanely tight closure. They also provide cushioning to keep your shins from banging when you ski more aggressively. Intermediate strap is (approximately) for skiers from 130-195 lbs that ski at beginner to intermediate levels.

These work tremendously well. They add an extra level of responsiveness and make the turns feel snappy. These straps added ~10 flex to my boot and saved me from having to get a whole new stiffer boot. I would highly recommend this for someone who wants to stiffen up their boot or wants to get an even more responsive feel out of their existing boots.

I was looking to replace my stock strap to have a better down hill stability. Easy to install. I will follow up with a review of the durability

If you are a skier that enjoys skiing on your edges and carving turns, these straps can be a great addition for additional support and increased ski boot rigidity.IF on the other hand you like 'starving' around....and have never really skied your skis correctly or technically...save your money.

When installing my Boosters, I drilled out the existing rivet with a 1/8 drill bit and reinstalled with pop rivets. The strap needs to be positioned so the buckle is on the outside. I like to run mine on the inside of the cuff. Keeps your boot nice and snug and your shin super comfy. Perfect product. Good install video or two on YouTube. Enjoy.

I was praying that these would be the solution to my nasty shin bang that I get every time on my 3rd consecutive day in a row of skiing. I'm always fine Friday, then fine for half or three quarters of the day on Saturday, then Sunday my shinbang is unbearable. Unfortunately, the straps still havn't been a solution. Not sure if theres anything I can do about it.People seem to swear by booster straps. To each there own. They look sweet though and still perform great. Definitely easy to use, and great if you like to crank your boots tight. but I don't feel any significant difference between these and my standard Scarpa Maestrale RS straps that came with my boots.

They remove the slop between your shin and the tongue of your boot. They allow you to lean forward when needed. The best way I can think of to describe it is that they allow your shins to communicate directly with the tips of your skis.

Does the job for what it is designed. When deciding if to buy a stronger or less strong strap, I opted for the stronger one, because if too strong, one can cut out (permanently) one rubber band to make the strap softer. That's exactly what I did. Had I bought the softer one, I would have always wandered if a stronger strap would have been better. By the way, I removed the original non-elastic strap from the boots completely.
