This was a Christmas gift for my husband, and he loves it! It worked well and helped him with the project he started last fall

This hoop bender works incredibly well. Our hoop house looks incredibly even and uniform. It does not look hand done, and this was super easy to use. Male or female can use this without difficulty once it is securely mounted onto something. That was the hardest thing to do, and even that wasn't hard.

I built up a pad and leveled it with large rocks and fines now dirt. I had to use a T post pounder to pound in 6 ft 1 5/8 chain link posts three feet down, which was very difficult to get in let alone straight, but close enough. lol When I first bent the first hoop I could not get it in as it was too rounded at the ends. I watched someone else on Youtube who figured it out. I used only 6 inch from the inside end and left two feet for the outside end which was now straight enough to insert into the terminal posts one foot. This gave me a hoop height of 8 ft 2 inch...perfect. It also made it stronger at the junction. The Youtube also showed how to re-straighten the too round first attempt hoop. I suggest you make a mention of it for those using 10 foot diameter and even perhaps 12 foot diameter benders. Leaving 2 ft gives a much straighter and more usable inside edge as well. Otherwise it worked great. I used the bed of my 16 foot trailer to bend horizontally. I bored two holes in the 2x6 bed and inserted the two bolts that came with the bender. I am working on the end walls now.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! We’re starting a homestead and want to get a head start on planting next season. This will allow me to build the hoop house we need to do this.

As described by seller. Sturdy. Came with cheater bar and machine bolts & nuts to secure it, wish they would have included lag bolts to screw them into wood decking instead of the machine bolts though. Company has good video on their web site on how to use this, instructions are not included in box.

It works well once screwed to a solid surface. Takes a little practice to bend them all the same but that's operator related! I had it secured to a 2x8 that was then secured to a flat bed trailer. The larger the surface the easier I find it is to make near perfect bends. The position of the pipe in the bender is key to success. The only thing I would recommend is that the bottom bending tubes be welded to a steel plate that would rest on the work area. It would stop the tool from twisting when force is applied while bending. Would make the tool more stable.I have bent my first project on the weekend and was able to have good results. Not sure on the long run how the integrity of the tool will remain, but it seems tough. I'm planning to bend quite a few since I'll be putting up a couple of 100 ft greenhouses this spring.Would recommendJoe

Have some strong hands for this tool!!! We bolted the bender to a solid, heavy workbench to bend 10’ lengths of EMT for our hen run. It wasn’t easy but each piece bent in a smooth, even arch. Because our width was 11’, we cut off 6” off the top of each arch, then everything fit together nicely. Don’t know when I’ll use this tool again, but it was good to have for this job.
