This is a great addition to a BOSH jig saw, especially if you use it indoors. It works well! Be sure to match the series # of your saw with the correct kit number for a propper fit..

I have wanted this for so long. Keeps sawdust in the shopvac. The bosch adapter i can use with other bosch tools and other tools with the weird size. Definitely a good accessory for my jigsaw!!!

Out of the box this felt light for the Bosch jigsaw (JS470E). Fits well, seems sturdy, and did a great job cutting many feet of curves in 5/8” marine plywood. Saved much dust, breathing & sweeping. Would have been a nice included accessory. Hose vacuum attachment is 1 1/4".

The device doesn't seem to collect a lot of dust. The saw is a beautiful, solid tool. The dust collector was not worth the purchase.

This is worthless for dust collection. I have a Jet dust collector that moves a lot of air. But the inlet to the dust collector attachment is soooo small- that virtually no air moves through it. Do not waste your money and buy this product. I love Bosche tools, but this one is a miss

Bosch did their homework on this accessory, it fit great and the suction is very effective as I would estimate that it collected probably 90% of the dust. The clear front dust shield makes it a little difficult to see where the blade is cutting relative to your line, there is a very small molded in centering triangle on the front of it that I took a Sharpie and colored black that helped a lot. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that once you have it installed and a hose connected, you need a lot of swing room behind the tool because it probably adds 6-7 inches of additional tool length and then you add your hose.

I was pleasantly surprised how well this collected the surface sawdust. I have a 5 HP Craftsman vac with 1 1/4" hose and it worked out very well to keep the dust from getting airborne. Of course you still have the sawdust that falls from the under side of the wood but it does not spread out like the surface sawdust without any vac attachment.Overall I am very pleased after the first couple uses. The insertion tool stayed in place. The only question I will have is how long will the friction fit last from the rubber coupler. There are several ribs to wear for it to allow air to pass but a male and female screw in connection would last a very long time with zero wear from a friction fit.Mine came with the clear plastic "hood" it fit well and stayed in place. It did hinder the view of the cutting marks but is very workable. I do wish the jigsaw had a light on it, but I just use a headlamp to see my marks better.

Works ok. It pretty much only catches the dust on the top of the cut so you can still follow your line. But lots of saw dust is left on the floor.
