Works well once you have it attached. It is hard to attach. The guide has easy to loose small screws and is expensive.

takes a delicate touch and too much effort to keep this from cutting a spiral instead of a circle. Clamps are clunky. Annoying that it doesn't go into the dedicated spot in the case either.I was surprised at how nice a job it does ripping, was able to replicate a piece of face frame and just drop that in.Considering it's primary use is to cut circles, I'm better off with any of the universal guides or shopmade.

Item that I received is different from the website picture and is a different version than what is described in the instructions that came with the guide. Not sure how well it will hold up, and installing on my saw is a very tight fit making adjustment very difficult. The guide part number matches what is referenced as an optional accessory in the manual that came with my saw. looking at the guide's instruction sheet you have to guess a lot as to how it installs on the saw. It can be installed though. For circle cuts you will have to experiment with the positioning of the pivot pin to get the proper arc. The guide that I received has 4 possible pivot pin positions to choose from which I'm sure has to do with the type of blade being used and whether the cut is an inside or outside radius cut.There is no info given to help you on the instruction sheet. You will have to experiment with some scrap wood and different blades to learn what works the best for your project. Overall I'm not impressed with this guide - over priced to say the least as with most Bosch products.

Fairly light weight plastic body; Not what you'd expect for a Bosch product. Adequate but fairly light weight plastic body. Bar is stamped in what looks like 1/16" indents; not useful. Directions would likely frustrate a first time user/woodworker. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, just some time fiddling with the brackets. After using this guide for circle cutting twice and judging its durability, a price of $10 would be reasonable. I'm considering returning this greatly overpriced product.

I was using it to cut cork laminate flooring as I do not own a table saw, and I learnt to go slow when using the jigsaw as the blade will warp if going to quick and then cut is no longer flush and true

This jig saw guide did exactly as expected. Could you make your own jig, probably but why. It works and got my money's worth.

It is a great addition to the jigsaw, makes it so much more usable and versatile. This addition makes the jigsaw more handy than the circular saw, even for parallel cutting.The only problem is that the guide does not fit into the saw case, but shop organization can take care of that.
