I needed to trim some branches and cut up the large stuff on the ground. These blades are fantastic. Even when bent it kept working! FAST and reasonably clean. I'm very happy with the blades.

I am a wood sculptor and tested this blade on a 4 inch cherry board. It worked for awhile in this thick hard wood but did get dull and drifted much sooner than I expected. I will be trying other brands to see if it is these blades or just the wood and my expectations.

I've always been partial to Bosch brand and these didn't disappoint.They did the job as good as I can expect, and it wasn't an easy task.

I use my jigsaw frequently and have different sets/sizes of jigsaw blazes, but they're all Bosch jigsaw blades. They're wonderful and haven't let me down yet

I had the need for this as I ran j to issues cutting some curves in 3” wood some years ago. Need more than the 4” blades. These 6” will give me the needed reach to cut beyond 1” lumber.And the 6” blade fits Bosch hard shell blade cases that come with a set of blades- so these went I to there as well.

I am a life long woodworker who works in my own dedicated shop at a high level of technique. I also taught woodworking and have much construction experience. I need a blade to cut through an actual 4" of pine for trusses I'm building for a log cabin project. I was hoping to avoid the use of a heavy beam saw and use my high end jig saw instead. I also have a reciprocating saw/sawzall but they are hard to control and be able to follow a cut line. These Bosch blades cut well but over the course of a 24" rip cut, even having cut part way through with a power circle saw these wander off the cut line. You'll think it's following the top, previous cut but actually this blade will have chosen another wrong path and can ruin and has ruined a project part! I do wish they made a T-shank jig saw blade in this length but as wide and stiff as many 6" ,8"reciprocating saw blades sold. It would exert no more stress on a jig saw blade than these do as the teeth are easily the same teeth on a wood cutting sawzall 6" blade as this one. While my shop band saw would easily make this cut, it's not logical to hold a large beam while cutting on a band saw-even while using a roller stand, not too mention it turns it into a two-person job. My solution has become taking the time to flip each beam and cut twice with a 7 1/4" power saw. I sent these blades back.

Really, these are very good for triming tree branches up to about 3 1/2 inches. I have an older Black and Decker PS 12 lithium battery saw, and these work just fine. The original blades, something called a Pirhana blade are only available through Buckeye Tool Supply. That company is not reliable, as they sent me two items labeled as blades that were some sort of bracket. Customer service is a joke. So I just ate tht $15.95 for two blades and vowed to never do business with them again. In fairness, these Pirhana blades were ordered through Walmart. These Bosh blades are the way to go. No problems at all, and they are sharp and efficient.
