I bought these revere blades because I had a formica laminate countertop to cut and someone recommended these blades. They did the job and the formica did not chip as I cut from the front side. Of course, I also put blue tape on it first. They were hard to use as they kept wanting to jump up. I don't know if the formica would have chipped with a regular blade if I also put the blue tape on it first. I am going to try it on a scrap piece I have left over.

The down-cut blades cut my in-place counter top perfectly. No chipping of the laminate. Just be patient, go slow, and hold your saw firmly as it saw wants to jump around a little when you first start the cut. Used one blade for 2 counter cuts. Good product.

Won't fit my old craftsman jigsaw

Used blade in a cheapo jig saw to cut 5/16 polycarbonate sheet. Worked great, did not heat up at high speed.
