Ceramic Tea Cup w Infuser & lid Vine Review. Brand: Bosmarlin. I’ve been wanting a hot tea cup with infuser, but lazily just stuck to the tea bags. Until I saw this “set”. So this isn’t what most might think when they hear: “Tea Set”! And of course, most will stick with tea bags and not need this “set”. But then you ARE reading this, so we roll on.Important starting point: This company does make some really amazing looking tea cups colors and patterns with strainers compared to this group here. Just do an Amazon search for: Bosmarlin Ceramic Tea Cup with Infuser and Lid.Typical infuser? Just something to break, break open, get separated from the cup and lost in some unknown drawer. Then the hot cup itself, always needing a coaster, and then a place to put the drippy infuser when removed. Maybe you hot tea pros have no patience for those of us who think of such things. BUT, this mug beckoned to me in a Vine offering, saying “Take me home, tonight. 🎶♫ “Here’s my novice/thinking checklist:Except for tea, all you need? In one box/package? ✅One piece infuser, no moving parts? Easy wash? ✅Coaster that pairs well with the mug, even when stored on a shelf? ✅Coaster that triples as a lid, a coaster, or a diffuser holder? ✅Adult sized capacity for both tea leaves or other? ✅ 10 Tablespoons, almost 2/3 cup.Adult sized capacity of hot tea? ✅ The mug will indeed hold 16oz, but you will need to allow for the amount lost by the infuser and its contents!Do you want a mug interior that is white to show cleanliness? Or able choose one that is dark? You can choose! ✅Adjusted RyanL Vine Voice rating scale:★ Well below expectations. And/or Listing is false.★★ Below expectations and/or Significant listing errors or Significant problems.★★★ Neutral - some good, some bad. The cup is very nice looking. The infuser mesh is very, very fine. The lid design is very nice looking but would be NICER if there were a way to use it the way you see i in pictures (including my second picture), which unfortunately defies the laws of physics. Because in order to rest your tea infuser on the finished side of the lid, as is shown in my picture and product pictures, you need to put the lid on upside down (as in my first picture, which is UNlike the product pictures). Putting the lid like this is not stable -- it slides off easily -- but if you center it carefully it doesn't drip down the side of the cup. If you do this, you can turn it over and have the side that's wet with tea condensation face up, not down, which would get your table or counter wet. If they designed the lid so that there was a lip or something that allowed you to put it on with the unfinished part up, as show in my first picture, it would be perfect... but it's still close enough that I may buy more cups of this style/design from this company (although I got this one free).

I drink tea everyday. I enjoy it and have been into loose teas but a lot of the tea strainers rust or doesn't keep all the leaves and things out. This one, however, has not disappointed me yet. never have anything in tea to pick out. It steeps so well and can be easily washed. Love that I can still enjoy all my loose teas without having to make a pot. The cup is very pretty with the speckle design. This would make a great gift for a tea drinker. Highly recommend this cup!

Color/design?It's a beautiful pink, and it's actually my grandmother's favorite color.It's sturdy & didn't break on delivery.The sellers wrapped the cup well, & kept it in bubble wrap to prevent breakage, which we all really appreciate.Functionality, Temperature, coffee temperature [when in the mug]?We haven't used yet, so I'll update about those elements when she uses it & gives me feedback on it!From the other comments i've read, [and from personally recieving it & my grandmother opening it & examining it], I will say:You need to buy this mug, as it's the perfect gift for anyone who loves coffee or loose leaf tea! For those types of people (which I'm a loose leaf tea person myself, my grandmother is both), this is an absolute BANGER for your buck!Plastic content?Amazon:Amazon ships it in a regular amazon bag; nothing the shop can do about it;The shop:The shop does offer the option to ship with other items you bought / in your que to delivery to reduce plastic waste in partnership with Amazon. [I'm so obsessed with that!!!]The shop themselves:Everything they give you is recycable, including the boxes [emphasis on boxES; the cup came in 2 boxes to secure that the mug didn't break, and then inside the second box, the mug was wrapped in bubble wrap, as i mentioned at the beginning, I genuinely do really appreciate that they took the time to think about the longevity and care of the item & product they were selling to make sure it actually gets to the buyer's doorstep].Anyway more about the review and enough of me appreciating...Material?The mug is ceramic, & the steeper is metal.TLDR:Mug came in perfect condition, due to multiple different methods of preparation for shipment.The shop offers reduced plastic shipping for those worried about the environment.The colors are beautiful.The mug itself is ceramic and the steeper's for the loose leaf tea and/or coffee is metal.The metalic steeper's holes are small to not get grinds or leaves in your drink when you are steeping your drink for long periods of time.It is a perfect gift for people who like coffee and/or loose leaf tea.I will update this again when my grandmother uses the mug to tell about how the mug keeps temperature when it is in use, and the functionality of the cup [in an edit].Final Review:10/10, my grandmother absolutely loves it, she plans on using very soon; She was so excited amongst opening.
