Having just joined my local volunteer fire department, I needed something other than the battery belt clip for my assigned radio. This radio shoulder belt is doing a great job for me. It took a bit of time to determine the best setting for the buckle, but now I think I have it in the best arrangement.The leather radio holder is a bit stiff. I am working to get it to wrap around the top back of my radio. This will help better shield the push-to-talk button from accidental presses, especially those caused by the seat belt receptacle (I wear my radio on my left side and the seat belt receptacle would occasionally hit the button). The over-the-top elastic cord does a good job holding the radio in its holder.

This is a well made product! I have 2 different Kenwood handheld radios that I use with this holster. It keeps my lapel mic in a convenient location. I no longer need to attach my radio to my belt and hope it does not fall off when I'm out on a call.I have 2 small complaints about the holster but it's more of a nit pick than anything. I wish there was a cut out for the clip on the radio so I wouldn't need to remove the clip and I wish there were a couple more snap on bands for the cable to the lapel mic instead of having to run the cord though the permanent loops.I definitely recommend this product to any fire or EMS personnel who need to keep their handheld radio close when on a call.

With all the attachment points this sits perfectly, doesn’t get snagged, sits in place without swinging too much and it’s too bulky. Sleek design and just big enough for my radio make this a perfect match for my needs!

Very comfortable. I would say it is amazing quality. Package comes with everything you need for it including: "anti sway hook, extra cord keepers". This is definitely a must have radio strap for sure.

I put off getting one of these for quite a while, but the changeover to the multi-band radios kinda pushed me towards one of these. Since Boston Leather really is the go to brand for these, I decided to get one of these bundles. It has everything you need to go right out of the bag. The strap is fully adjustable to fit pretty much any size or shape person. If you’re thinkin you don’t need the anti-sway strap...you’re wrong. You need it. Trust me! It keeps the radio in place and from bouncing around when you’re gettin in or outta the dang truck, or going up and down stairs. Don’t even try to do anything more than a calm walk without it! So as I was sayin, this bundle is pretty much everything you need to get started, as a firefighter, for carryin your radio.

I've had this for a while and it shows no signs of wear or tear. I wear it all the time while it's snowing and raining and it shows no water damage and it retains its polish. Awesome product altogether and I recommend it to all the new hires!

Good quality radio strap. I work in private EMS on a 48 hour rural shift and this is great to easily don my radio when calls come in. Also nice to be able to hang the radio when working out, showering, etc. Anti sway strap is a must use to prevent the radio from interfering with pt contact. Have had more than my share of violent patients while wearing this strap and never had any issues.
