Although this release is not my usual type of release I give it 5 stars because it is if not better, very comparable to some high dollar thumb releases.1. The versatility is top notch: the release can be set up to be 3 or 4 finger. Left or right hand draw, and thumb tension can be adjusted.2. The construction is solid! Doesn't rattle or shake or feel lose even after making changes.3. It come with a wrist attachment, and a metal d-loop attachment, which was kind of a surprise to me. I usually tie my own on my compound bow, but may try this during off season.4. It comes very nicely packaged, with full instructions on how to make changes etc.Overall a very Nice Inexpensive Realease! Recommended!TADA!

I have a second home, in the back woods of Virginia. For my tastes, it is a little too isolated. Much of the time, you can, barely, get a cell signal and WiFi is, almost, non-existent. Therefore, I try to find various ways to entertain myself, when there. So, when I got the chance to get a bow and arrow, I did not hesitate. It was a good set, for an adult beginner, such as myself. And, when the opportunity presented itself, for me to get this bow release, I thought I’d give it a shot and, again, did not waste a moment. It's ergonomic design is made from aluminum alloy. It has 360° head rotation, along with an adjustable trigger, and grips, for a three or four finger release. It can withstand 80 pounds of pull, can be set up for either left or right hand use, and enhances finger friction. This is all new to me, as I am just learning. However, it seems to be working as advertised. I am sure the more I use it, the more comfortable I will become.

My other release finally broke but I’d had it a long time so as a replacement I grabbed this model, and I’m happy with that decision. This is a pretty high end piece that is configurable so you can set it up for you and the sensitivity of the trigger is adjustable. For the practice shooting I’ve been doing the trigger actually feels good so I have not even attempted to adjust it yet. I like the 360 degree rotation capability of the handle. Lightweight and seems to be sturdy so far. I would recommend it.

This bow release is made very well. It comes preassembled in a tin box with a hook for the bowstring, tools, and instructions. It also comes with two finger rests for a 4-finger hold but they both appear to be identical. One of them is preinstalled on the release. It is a great feature to be able to choose between 3 or 4 finger draw. The release is activated with your thumb and it can be flipped to the opposite side with one screw for left handed people like myself. The only downside is that the foam cutout in the tin is made for the right handed configuration, so it will not fit back into the tin if it is set up for lefties. The hook is a bit difficult to install on the bow string but it is secure once it is in place. The tiny screwdriver that is provided works ok to get the screws started but you'll want to use a real one to put enough torque into it to ensure the screws do not back out during use. Some threadlocker would be a good idea as well. In use, the release works great! I am using this with a Samick Sage recurve and it does make the release much more consistent, but some would say it takes away from the sport of using a recurve.

This is a really good bow release. I used to use a more traditional type with a wrist strap, and trying out this type of fingers bow release was a new experience for me. I can say with certainty that I like this type of release better. It's easier to control your bow, and I'm getting more consistent and precise shots with this type of release. Talking about this particular release, I can say that I like the ergonomics and quality of its construction. It fits well into my hand and there are no sharp edges. It's made from billet aluminum and can be used in 4-finger or 3-finger configuration. I personally prefer a 4-finger configuration. It also comes with an additional 4th finger rest of a different form/angle to better fit smaller hands, I guess. The trigger is knurled, so your fidget does not slip off, and it's smooth and easy to operate. You can also adjust its position and flip it to the other side with left-handed shooters. The string jaws are 360-degree rotatable and seem to hold the string loop really well. I have a 65 pounds draw weight Hoyt bow and I had zero issues with this release. As a bonus, it comes with an aluminum string loop, which I have not used yet as I have a traditional “soft” loop on my bows already, but it will come handy when it comes to setting up my next bow. Also, there is a hand strap included. Everything is packaged in a nice tin box, which is a nice touch. End to end, it's an excellent, high-quality bow release at a very reasonable price, which I do not hesitate to recommend to all bow shooters. Solid 5-stars product!Bottom line:Yes, hands down recommend this Tatoc Bow Release. It offers a superior experience compared to traditional wrist-strap releases, providing better control and precision. Made of quality billet aluminum, it's ergonomic and customizable, with options for 3 or 4 fingers.
