Spot the light beam
This optical snoot could concentrate the light beam in a small round area like a spotlight function. When 1 meter distance between the spotlight and the background, the max diameter of round beam area on the background is 25 inches (65 cms).
Projection size
In using the projection function with Gobos, when 1 meter distance between the spotlight and the background, the max diameter of projection pattern on the background is 11 inches (28 cms).
The longer the distance, the larger the projection pattern on the background.

So this will do what you need it to do as a snoot. I like the built in lens, but that does mean you don't get to customize your lighting with various lenses, you're stuck with the one built in. The gobos and color chips are good quality, but where this raises some concerns is the built quality. The material is fine, but man, it's the screws and connections in the housing. They aren't even, some are a little tilted and bent, it screams low quality and it makes paying much more for brand names the safer route. The quality of the light it puts out is dope but my god, it's just shamefully put together. If you are in the market for a snoot, check in with recognizable brands. You'll pay more, but have so much peace of mind.

Having never used a snoot before, I'm having a blast learning how to use it. It's a great feeling discovering that I can get results with the Alluneitter that are impossible with regular lighting set-ups. Shoulda got a snoot long ago.The Alluneitter Bowens snoot is well made and is easy to learn and control. And Alluneitter isn't stingy with the Gobos: 12 are included as are 4 color filters. I encountered no problems or difficulties with the product. (If you see aberrations in the Gobo photos I've included, they're due to a backdrop that's not perfectly flat.)I can tell already that I'll find many uses for the snoot. It's easy for me to recommend the Alluneitter to anyone who wants to expand their lighting tool set.

This product is great and the quality is perfect the only thing is the shapes are not very good and I only use the circle and that's it the shapes are not practical.

I really like to use this Snoot. I use it almost all the time now. I’m not a big lighting kind of guy but this snoot adds so much more depth and texture to shots. It’s actually pretty crazy. However the distance this thing throws is a little short and the size of the projection is fixed. Overall a great starters snoot for someone like me with a cheaper logging set up. Someone that has cheaper lights and wants a cheaper addition to help them with their lighting variety.

I wanted an optical snoot that included a lens, some gobos and had a bowens mount. This was the best for the price. Seems well made. The only disappointment is the lens, it does not hold focus/sharpness from the center to the edges on a flat surface. (see slide attached.) However, a little feathered edge is OK for this kind of application. Attached are some examples of projections on and behind the subject.

Been using this on a mirror photobooth and it's been working flawlessly. I have it setup wirelessly to my camera and it almost never misfires.
