For this we should honor him by dressing our children in a boys' George Washington costume. It is our patriotic duty to make sure each new generation remembers how George Washington dressed, especially if we are portraying him in a play or skit.

No wig, pants, boots, or hatchet included. It was just the top part of "boots" (so make sure you have brown leather looking shoes), the turn coat, and a frilly ascot. Very cheaply made.

Just took the costume out of the bag and one of the buttons on the blue “overcoat” is literally held on with a safety pin! It’s a cute costume and will work great for my son’s Famous American project, but I’m pretty disappointed in the defect considering the price of $27!

Great for dress up, not very durable. Thinner than we anticipated so if it’s chilly outside-be sure to bundle up underneath. Decent costume for the cost. My son loved it.

The buttons were a little loose and I had to secure them with more thread. Other than that, it is a great costume, great quality and not flimsy.

This uniform was perfect for our needs. My son had to dress as “Alessandro Volta” for the school wax museum. I recommend ordering a size larger than what you need. I read reviews before purchasing and people recommended to order a size up as the costume runs small...glad I ordered a medium instead of a small. I added patches to the jacket to complete the authenticity of the character. Really nice costume. My seven year old son loved it!

This is perfect for dress up and Halloween. The long tails of the coat are great when your 7 year old is re-enacting Leslie Odom Jr.'s moves in "The Room Where it Happens." Also good for pirate play. It's easy to move in this costume and it seems like it will last at least a year of active-boy-use. Medium fit my slim, average height 7.5 year old with a little extra room to layer underneath, but still fine with no layers or a slim layer under it.
