We got this for our daughter and it's a bit big but I'd rather she be able to grow into it rather than already too big for it. I'd definitely say this is truer to a boys size and can also fit our 6 yo son a bit better but not for much longer.Regardless, it feels like a good quality that will hold up well. I do wish the inside sleeves had the same liner as the rest of the coat (see pic), not sure why so many places do that other than to cut costs.It's also brighter yellow than expected, not a true yellow and not neon but I thought it was kind of a pale yellow (see pic for comparison to a pale/pastel yellow),almost has a hint of like a lime/neon green in it. Still like it and still recommend but definitely not pale yellow.

This jacket is awesome! Fits my son so well, and helped him stay dry and warm in the Hoh Rainforest of the Olympic Peninsula as we hiked, explored, and searched tide pools. It rained most of the week we were there, and my son does not like getting rained on. With this jacket there was no hesitation from him! He would throw it on and run out the door without a single worry!

This is a great high quality light weight rain coat. It fits well and is durable. It is breathable and comfortable. The sizing runs a little big, but that is perfectly fine especially for if the kiddo wants to have a thin layer of clothing under this jacket.

jacket is true to size. my son liked it and wanted to stand under the water hose to test it out. it is lined but the seams are not tapped. this material will soak through in a downpour but will be water resistant for light rain. would recommend for light wear just not backpacking.

The outer material of this jacket is a bit stiff but is pretty much what you expect from a water proof material that is not expensive. The inner body area has a soft material lining, though the sleeves are a slick material. It might get sweaty in the arms if worn on a hot day. But I like that it’s not a heavy coat - it’s a good weight for late spring or early fall rainy days. The hood has a bit of a “bill” on it to provide extra face protection. I also really appreciate the reflective stripes on the front and back. The green color is very vibrant and makes it easier to spot your child in a crowd. The fit is true to size.

Got this for my 5 year old. I got size 5-6 years, and it fits as expected and has plenty of room for him to grow into it. A sweatshirt could be worn under it with adequate room. The hood is plenty big, which I like because some kids rain coats I've noticed is small/tight, but this has plenty of room and easy to put on and even over a hat.The material is good quality and nice color. I got black. It has reflective material on it as well which is nice for playing outside.The pockets are on the smaller side. They aren't zippered. He doesn't really need pockets for anything important anyway so not a big losing point.Overall, good quality jacket and happy with item.

Bought this for my 9-year-old and it fits him well (with enough space to wear something thicker underneath). Just wore this yesterday for the first time in significant rain while watching outdoor sports and this kept him nice and try after standing in the rain for an hour. Green color is nice and bright (and unique) to find him while he was wearing it as well.
