My son finds them comfortable and warm. We've been ordering this style for the last 3 years. Since sizing is not consistently indicated, we've been bouncing between sellers.

My son adores these pants. They're warm, water resistant on the outside, soft lined on the inside, and fit him really well. He wears them as normal pants to school, and says that they keep him warm and comfortable on the playground, even on the really cold days. They're made well and look tailored (not too casual). He decided to wear them without the belt, and they've stayed up on him fine even though he's very slim. He's 65 lbs and 8 years old and the 8-9 year old size was perfect. 5 stars.

These fleece lined hiking pants look very stylish and seem to be pretty warm. They are lined well yet I doubt they are going to work for skiing or in deep snow (will surely update on that part soon) but they are working well during the cold spell. They are made of good breathable material and are water proof. I loved how they don’t wrinkle no matter how you pack them they come out wrinkle less.Looking at the stitching and sizing the pants fit true to the size for my son and are very stitched well. Just that the closing button is pretty hard for the kids to handle on their own but the zipper glides smoothly. The pockets on the other hand serve their purpose well.Overall they are nice pants and keep my son warm and cozy.

The material on these winter pants feels nice and smooth, fleece lined, and thin vs bulky. The fit was good. However, the zippers are cheaply made and the zipper pull on the cargo pocket immediately broke off the first time I tried to use it. The hook and loop fastener on the other cargo pocket is weak and does not hold closed. The button fastener (not a snap) at the top of the zipper on the front is difficult for kids to use, and impossible to maneuver with gloves on. The stitching all around is pretty good quality, and the elastic sections on each side of the waistband are thick and strong. These could have been really nice if the manufacturer had invested in better quality zippers and hook and loop fasteners.Pros: Nice material, good quality stitching.Cons: Button front fly, cheap zippers that break.

I have to say I'm impressed. The stitching of these pants seems to be very well done, including a gusset in the crotch to provide for greater flexibility/stretch. The liner is made from a nice quality fleece. I do question whether the plastic buckle of the belt will hold, however, that is not an essential piece of the construction.I plan to spray these with a waterproofing treatment to ensure our son stays dry while wearing these during our fishing or paddling trips.A great addition to our son's wardrobe.

These are nice pants and they seem to be well-made. However, the fit is on the slimmer side and the sizing is a bit small so I would recommend sizing up. I ordered L (14-16) for my almost 12-year-old and it was a great choice.It keeps my son warm on cold days but it is not very thick so I am not sure how well it will protect him during snowy days. It would however be perfect for hiking, etc.I sincerely hope that you would find this review helpful.

These pants are very nice looking, fashion forward, they are true to size and fit well, very comfortable and stretchy, with a complimenting, casual belt to boot! Beautiful in the "Green," and warm on the inside with some very soft, smooth fleece that feels good, not the itchy type. They have a couple zippered pockets which are a bit on the "small" side, but still very functional. Great pants, highly recommend.

Needed snow pants for my 7yo old son, and these are great, warm and not too bulky. Sizing was great as well.
