I purchased this tunic for my 7 year old grandson to wear to the Renaissance Fair. I wanted cotton not polyester so that he wouldn’t be too hot. It’s a “cotton” type blend, it’s definitely not 100% cotton, but better than straight up polyester. It turned out not to be a super hot day when we went so he wasn’t too hot. I got him the 8-10 years size bc I wanted it to be a little big, luckily I did bc it wasn’t big at all. It was the perfect size. If I’d got the 6-8 years size it would have been really tight on him. So if in doubt, definitely size up. Overall, I’d purchase again. It was perfect for what we needed it for and really nice quality.

It's a bit thin, doesn't stretch at all, the fit a little boxy. All-in-all it'll work good for a costume.

These tops worked well enough for my son’s first renaissance festival. They weren’t anything special, but they worked. I don’t except they to hold up for several years or anything, as the craftsmanship is just “OK”. They did have an insanely strong “spicy/incense” smell coming out of the bag, which normally I don’t mind but it actually gave me a migraine.
