Overall, this lyre is well constructed and feels high quality. This was tried out on a tenor sax and a baritone sax. The clamp worked well and kept the post and lyre stable. The first comment is that the way it had to be set up on the baritone sax was off to the side, so it could work but isn't ideal. On the tenor sax, it was able to be set up in a better position for reading the music.The second comment is that the clamp on the lyre itself works well for lighter weight music flip folders (for marching or pep bands), but wasn't able to securely accommodate a larger music folder, the kind with plastic front and back covers.
