First, this cannot automatically control both heat and cooling, despite expressly claiming to do so--you have to switch it yourself. Second, the batteries that came with it were horribly corroded, so who knows how long it'd been sitting in a warehouse, and under what conditions. Third, once you get it (which took me three weeks longer than originally expected) and install it, the minutes tick by like seconds, so the unit goes through a whole day's schedule in 24 minutes, rendering what automatic capacity it may have actually had completely useless. This has been nothing but a source of frustration, waste of money, and worst of all, a waste of time.

Real big display, BIG numbers, back-lit when touched and easy to read (I'm 66, my wife is 64), easy to program, offers an intermittent fan setting if you just want to circulate air - which most others don't. Bought it specifically for a new combination central air and heat unit and had it all professionally installed. Zero problems and issues, and as the consumer/ user, I am 100% happy with this. "Its the cat's meow!"
