Looks great when job is done. Very hard to install cable end when sizing and trying to insert end on cut cable housing. After the first one I used some tape to help keep cable material threading together when inserting end.

Great brake cables for little money. I typically use JagWire cable and I would say this is maybe not quite as good but about 1/4 the price. I bought a bunch more for future projects.

Wanted a new colored brake cable for my jump/trail mountain bike. Comes with a front and rear inner cable, and plenty of housing to run a solid cable from lever to brake. I only needed a rear brake cable, so I have plenty of extra housing left over. Front inner cable is a front cable, as its cut very short compared to the rear. Kit also comes with cable tips, metal ferrules, clear rubber cable bumpers, and even some black plastic cable separators.Cable housing is lined with a plastic sleeve, add a little additional lube, (I prefer Phil Wood) and you'll have some smooth functioning brakes.I'm using my brake cable on a Avid mechanical disc brake. Brakes feel smooth and firm.I give this product 4 out of 5 stars only because the housing is not a stiff compression less housing. Hard breaking, you can see and feel some cable deflection.
