Your cart is empty.This plate replaces the little cubbie on the left side of the dash. It will provide a convenient place to mount the brake controller as well as a safe place being that you won't have to reach down to access the manual override lever on the controller. This panel is made from injection molded Polycarbonate plastic. It Is a simple installation that provides a factory installed look to your Tacoma.

Like most have stated, it is overpriced but worked for my application. I decided to take a different approach to installing my P3 trailer brake by installing it to the left of the steering column. With a little modification, I was able to install the trailer brake seamlessly into the lower trim piece. Overall, pretty satisfied with the look and finish of the installation.

Fit worked once I shaved off the top tab on the brake controller. After the adjustment, fit worked and looks great.

This is not a "Mounting Kit." It is a $2 flat piece of plastic, with four small screws. The photo above is deceptive--perhaps blurry for a reason. The cutout for the controller, in the plastic, does not and cannot fit tightly. No gasket is provided to fill the gap. There is no bracket to support the controller. The dash of my pickup has several add-on accessories. Both OEM items and aftermarket items fit with precision.I did not install it. The only positive thing I can say is that it appears it will hold the controller, but so would a couple of cable ties. The seller provided a refund, but it was $5 less than the purchase price. So... It will cost you $5 to see you don't want to pay $40 for a $2 piece of... plastic. Shame on you, ESP.
