- AS506 brake fluid boiling point tester is a handheld vehicle testing device that can detect whether the brake fluid needs to be replaced by detecting the water content in the brake fluid. It can be used to detect brake fluid DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT4+, DOT4ESP, DOT 5, DOT 5.1, DOT5.1ESP, ENV4, ENV6. Users can set the detection parameters according to their own detection requirements.

- Why need to detect the brake fluid boiling point: B
- rake fluid is essentially a corrosive, water-soluble fluid for low-temperature hydraulics and is not an actual oil. Brake fluid tends to absorb wetness in the air causing the boiling point to decrease and the brake fluid disc to boil due to prolonged friction. Brake fluids with lowered boiling points are more likely to boil and generate vapor due to heat absorption. Since the brake fluid circuit is a sealed fluid system and no air is allowed to exist, the boiling steam will affect the transmission of the fluid pressure channel and finally cause brake failure.
- NOTE:
- Please wear goggles when working and be careful not to splash brake fluid into your eyes.
- Do not perform the test without sufficient liquid in the beaker (the test stick can be damaged by empty boiling).
- Do not touch to avoid burns after the test, as the test stick and liquid are at high temperature.
OPERATION STEPS:
STEP 1: Use a sampler to suck up 40-50ml ofbrake fluid, and theninject it into the beaker;
STEP 2: Connect the device to a 12V battery,and select the type of brake fluidto be tested after turning it on;
STEP 3: Put the test rod into the beakerand immerse the sampling holein the brake fluid:
STEP 4: Press and hold the S button for 16s.Wait for the progress bar to complete.and the test resultwill be obtained.

Auf der Suche nach einem zuverlässigen Tester für die Bremsflüssigkeit habe ich dieses Produkt gefunden, welches über den Siedepunkt die noch vorhandene Gebrauchsfähigkeit der Bremsflüssigkeit bestimmt.Verschiedene (günstige) Tester die versuchen über den Widerstand den Wassergehalt in der Bremsflüssigkeit zu bestimmen, habe ich anhand von Wasserbeimischungen in DOT4 ausprobiert, diese Tester sind ungenau und liefern keine verwertbaren Ergebnisse (dann lieber neue Bremsflüssigkeit kaufen). Dieser hat den Siedepunkt von neuen Bremsflüssigkeiten, verschiedener DOTs und Marken hinterlegt, liefert reproduzierbare Ergebnisse.Tipp: Nach dem Test in der Bremsfüssigkeit, Test mit Wasser ausführen, Siedepunkt bekanntlich 100°C und ihr seht die Abweichung vom Gerät (Hersteller gibt 3% Messgenauigkeit an). Bei mir waren es genau 100°C. Danach ist auch wieder der Sensor gereinigt. Verkäufer kümmert sich sehr schnell um Probleme (ich hatte ein Problem) und reagiert sehr zuvorkommend (englische Sprachkenntnisse vorteilhaft).

Funktioniert eigentlich einwandfrei, aber es ist lässtig immer am Fahrzeug mit da batterie sich zu verbinden, weil ein paar Fahrzeugen ist die batterie hinten im kofferraumboden.Vielleicht kann da eine Batterie oder Akku direkt anschließen.Es geht um ca. 10 Grad nicht sowie ein teueres Gerät. Aber es funktioniert.

Das Teil war schnell bei mir, das ist auch das einzige Positive. Ich habe es sofort an meinem Auto, an dem ich zuvor schon die Bremsflüssigkeit gewechselt habe getestet. Es kam Ei wert unter 150°c raus. Machtbmich schon stutzig! Ich öffnete eine neue Flasche mit Bremsflüssigkeit und da zeigte sie auch nur eine Temperatur von 203°c...dann noch einmal mit der selben Charge an Flüssigkeit, zack wieder nur 150°c . Habe es sofort zurück geschickt, den Schrott!

Don’t waste your money on the cheap and highly inaccurate pen style conductivity testers. Boiling point is the only non-lab based test that gives a highly accurate view of your brake fluid’s condition. This is an excellent value and is packed very well too.

Das angebotene Messegerät unterscheidet sich von den meisten Bremsflüssigkeitstestern, dass der Siedepunkt gemessen wird, nicht die elektrische Leitfähigkeit der Bremsflüssigkeit. Das ist die einzige Messmethode, die wirklich Aufschluss über den Zustand der Flüssigkeit gibt! Es gibt Konkurrenzprodukte, die dasselbe tun, aber die sind in einer anderen Preisklasse.Das Gerät funktioniert tadellos, der Kundendienst war erreichbar und hat in meinem Fall zu meiner vollen Zufriedenheit und auch schnell reagiert. Also, wer wirklich testen will: Klare Kaufempfehlung!
