Confirming: Works for Tektro brakes, which require a thicker brake hose. The hose is quite stiff and inflexible, but the barbs and olives work well. Kit is good for one rear brake install, or several front brakes. This review is from January 2025, Western US.

I've ordered 2 sets of this hose and both kinked very easily during installation. Do not use this hose for internally routed hydraulics.I will not be ordering a third set, as this hose is just too thin.Useless...

I rarely do these things myself but I had no issue using this kit to replace my brake line. The youtube videos were helpful for sure.

It was a slightly bigger diameter than came with Zoom brakes but I just drilled the adjuster screw a little bigger. The right brake is for the front so it is a short hose. I bought a longer hose to reach the rear. Fittings press into the hose and it isn't easy. I put the fitting in a drill press and clamped the tubing in a vise then pressed it in.

Hose is easy to kink so be careful. I compared it to the OEM part it replaced and there is a notable difference in “kink-ability”.

I Installed Apes on an Ebike and the brake lines were too short, reason for the 4 stars is after installing the rear lines, It was a foot too short for the front, but I was able to reuse the old rear brake lines for the front so all is well.HEY! YOU DONT NEED Special tools to cut the lines or press teh barb into the end. I used wire strippers to cut the line and a 2x4 to press the barb in.
