Seedbed Preparation:

  • Conduct a soil test prior to planting. Ideal pH is over 6.0. Adjust soil by adding recommended lime.
  • If weeds/grass competition is heavy, consider using glyphosate herbicide prior to planting.

Planting Instructions:

  • Disk or till seedbed to loosen soil.
  • Smooth seedbed with a drag or cultipacker.
  • Spread seed at rate recommended on front of bag.
  • Do not cover seed after broadcasting. Seed should not be more than 1/4" deep.

Inconsistent growth. Could be me I guess but a little disappointed compared to a Rural King budget seed of the samr mix

If you have some bald spots in your yard this stuff will give you a forest, but the deer still won't eat it, neither will rabbits. I'M confused about this product.

This is a great way to make you a little honey hole for hunting that only you know about. This is my go-to year after year. Very easy, just spread and go. Come back in a week, and bingo, you have a food plot. It has even come up when we had no rain for weeks. Great product.
