Our bread basket, handwoven from kaisa grass with palm wrap, comes with a terra cotta bread warmer that fits perfectly inside the basket! Basket: Rinse with water. Do not rub stains or spills from your basket. Not dishwasher safe. Use and Care instructions: Rinse before first use. Dry well. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place terracotta stone in oven and bake for 10 minutes. Do not put basket in oven. Handle carefully, place stone in basket. For best results, wrap food in towel and place on warmer. To clean, rinse with water. Not dishwasher safe.

Beautiful well made basket with decorative terra cotta warming stone. I did not keep this item as it didn’t retain heat much more than the current basket I use.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. It is really pretty. The terra cotta is around 1/2 inch thick so it would definitely stay warm for a while. The basket is also very useable and well made.

There are a few spots where the wicker has some spilts in it. Not very noticeable though.

So many baskets don't have enough room for a small loaf of bread. This fits enough bread to serve the table. It's not very deep, though, so don't expect to serve the whole pan of rolls. The ceramic warmer is pretty and came without being cracked.
