Very functional and handy. Works and stores very well. The only problem are the adjustments. Going every one row is paper thin. Every two rows is too thick. Doable if you like Texas toast.

This bread slicer is great. It's sturdy, adjustable, and has a tray to catch crumbs.

This bread slicer makes it a lot easier to make even and thin slices out of a bread loaf. The durability stands out for sure. Big enough storage capacity to hold a loaf of bread. The value for the money is solid.

I purchased this product to slice my crusty sourdough bread. I was reluctant at first because I thought I would prefer bamboo, but after reading reviews for bamboo products, I decided to give this a try and I'm so happy I did. I'm thoroughly pleased. It makes slicing crusty bread a breeze! I love the fact every slice is the same width and the loaves of bread look as beautiful after slicing as they did before! I highly recommend!

I wanted to give this a 4.5.The product works great. I have a loaf of bread sitting in the refrigerator right now.Things I liked. The bread box is easy and convenient. I can fit around two loafs in there.Plastic is easy to clean. All the parts fit together easily.Love the ability to place the guides at custom widths. The net bag for the bits and pieces is nice, I can toss it in a drawer and not worry about having to hun things down later. The padded feet really grip on our ceramic tile counters so that helps keep it all steady.Room for improvement. For the 2 lb loaf the bread rises just slightly above the plastic slots. So you really need to work on lining up your knife. The plastic base does get scratches from the knife. I bought a pretty descent 14 inch bread knife and it leaves scratches. You will get this on bamboo ones too. If it really bugs you I would recommend sanding them out every couple of months. Keep it clean and dry and you shouldn't really have any issues.Unless you buy a restaurant grade powered slicer, this will work just fine for 99% of us.Is it perfect, no.Does it do the job with a little care, and skill, yes.Cost to benefit ratio is high, so I will recommend this product.

This has helped me slice clean even lines in my sourdough bread. This bread has a tough, thick crust and I was struggling to cut especially while having to hold it steady in my hand. With this, I can slice my loaf on half, and then place cut side down in the guides and cut thin, even slices. I can also skip a slot or 2 and cut thicker slices. Just be sure you have a knife long enough to go beyond the sides.

This is the 1st bread slicer we ever bought. It works well on loaf shaped bread, but not so much on round loaves. It's super easy to put together, and the tray underneath does keep the crumbs off the counter and contained, which is nice. The price is really reasonable as well. There are 3 things I don't like about it though. The first being that my serrated knife or any knife really, cuts the plastic bottom, so you know you are getting plastic in the bread and in your body even though you don't see it. We get that from so many products that we have no control over anyway, but we do have control over whether we use this or not. Based on the bottom of mine now after about 20 uses, I'm getting a different one now that doesn't have a plastic bottom. The 2nd thing I don't like is that you can't adjust the slice size. It's one size fits all. It's not a bad size though, but I would like it better if it were adjustable. The 3rd us that it is too small for round loaves. I'm pretty sure that's an issue for any slicer though. Not just this one.

I actually use this for cutting SPAM into 3 equal parts which i cook on an indoor grill. I calorie count & like the 3 parts to be as equal as possible. The best things about this product is its adjustability & durability

Its alright, I find the plastic too soft but once amazon stock some good quality wooden/bamboo slicers I will most likely get one of those.

I changed this to a five star as the seller made everything good.just doesn't work good on a two lb loaf and that's what I make with my bread machine.but it is a good product.
