I'm giving this two stars for the fact the breadboards seem to be decent. They hold well, without being too tight. I randomly probed various holes on both boards and found no issues (no shorts or high resistance).Everything else about this kit is a no-go for me. The "binding" posts are not real binding posts. They are cheap banana jacks disguised as binding posts. They also don't fit the holes on the breadboard plate properly either (way too small). The rubber feet provided have no adhesive and don't even elevate the plate high enough to clear the "binding" posts.If all you're looking for is a couple of breadboards stuck down on a metal plate, this kit provides that. However, you can buy similar products for much less money.

I bought this breadboard kit for my husband, and he absolutely loves it! The breadboards seem to be of high quality and hold the components securely. The metal plate is sturdy and has really handy printed formulas, which my husband finds very useful and time-saving.Even though there were some reviews regarding the binding posts not beeing high enough, I decided to try it because the second and third pictures were clear about how to avoid it. And everything works perfectly - it does not touch it!So, overall, this kit is fantastic, and my husband is very happy with it. Highly recommended!

.A standard larger breadboard mounted on a metal plate. The addition of the printed formulas, logic gates, etc would be very helpful for the student. To tell the truth, it's also helpful at times for someone who's decades passed engineering school. Everything works to spec. Everything is top notch.
