I won't recommend the Breakthrough Carbon Pro heavy carbon remover. Used twice, removed bluing twice, damaging two different manufacturers finishes.See photos. Brand new Rough Rider, cleaning factory new cylinder of the residue carbon from factory test firing prior to shipment.Note everywhere that had a carbon ring from flash at the forcing cone removed the carbon great, but also the factory bluing.Note the repair, 4 coats of cold blue to restore for mandatory rust prevention. Worse is cold blue will never meet the durability of hot blue. With cost of materials to repair, time, and effort it would have been cheaper to purchase a brand new cylinder.Not acceptable. You may think it was specific to this manufacturers bluing and cylinder. However a month ago cleaning a vintage rifle the same bluing damage affected 60% of the factory bluing that had lasted 60 some years. This resulted in a receiver barrel restoration that no one would want to encounter nor experience.In my opinion this product does remove carbon well as stated, but buyer beware in the use and application.

This product cleans oils and grease and powder fouling. It needs to soak in a bore for 10 minutes to get under carbon and loosen the bond. What it wont remove will need to be removed with an abrasive

Works great on my dirty 9mm AR (blowback action so extra dirty).A tooth brush and a few cotton swabs plus this cleaner does an easy/good job

A Little goes a long way. I thoroughly cleaned three guns in an hour with little product . You spray the product, let is sit for 15 minutes, scub everything with nylon brushes and rinse with aerosol Gun Scrubber or alike . Piece of cake 🎂 . Even after the Gun Scrubber it will leave slight film on the surface that I removed with a cotton cloth and then afterwards used my Remington Oil . Range Ready Now Buddy ! ! ! Fast , easy and non toxic is what I LOVED .
