This garter will serve the purpose for a one time event to use for an hour and then throw to the crowd, but it is not comfortable if you were going to wear it for any length of time. The band is very thin and hurts. The "jewel" obviously looks very fake, but for this price you would expect that. It is low quality and if it were not just a one time event I would not purchase it again, but for this purpose of "throwing it away" it will work out just fine.

We used this as the garter for the garter toss as I wanted to keep the much nicer one as a keepsake. This was a very affordable option and did the job.
