Works well for LT1000 Craftsman and probably most Briggs and Stratton riding lawn mower engines of that era. If you are lacking fuel suction a leaky gasket could be the cause. (Or a dying battery could mimic similar symptoms.

As the title says, fixed the oil leak my cub cadet Lt1042 had. Worked as intended. Would recommend.

Received on Friday, went to mow on Sunday and the original 21 year old valve cover gave up the ghost so it worked out perfectly...would recommend as well purchase from them again if the need should arise

I actually ordered a copper head gasket from a different vendor because these engines are known for oil consumption due to head gasket failures, but needed the valve cover and intake and exhaust manifold gaskets. This kit was cheaper than getting the gaskets I needed individually. The gaskets are nice and fit well with no leakage so far.

Put on a 2022 production JD S100 42 inch mower 2 months ago have put over 50 hours on hauling 400 pound trailer watering on rural place with steep hilly terrain in Eastern Washington Cascade mountains great product for extreme heat and weight that mower is used for.
