This is the second of these batteries I have bought, as I use two front lights attached to the Treks handlebars.This allows me to operate a 1800 lumen light at full intensity for well over 2+ hours, and I have never run out of charge during a bike ride. At lower intensities you probably would get well over 5 hours of light.If you use this every day like I do, then you should get at least 12-18 months out if it, before the storage charge nosedives...this is not a fault of the battery as ALL rechargeable batteries have a finite number of recharge cycles.The fastening system is excellent with buckles and Velcro, yet installs in under a minute- and there is no way it can ever accidentally fall off.I feel that this represents good value for money especially since it's high mAH rating is only a few dollars more than smaller batteries that only hold half the charge.When this eventually fails I will replace itwith the identical model.

Great battery, lasts a long time, takes a real long time to charge

This is a better battery than came with the light. It holds more power so I charge it less. Only real improvement I can see would be to include a push button meter like drills all have now. This has a hard shell vs the original that had a rubber surround but it also is shaped so it can strap to the bike well. My only worry is that it might crack or something if it’s dropped or somehow were to fall off the bike which isn’t very likely. It’s a little bigger in size compared to original battery as well. When I use the light as a headlamp instead of on the bike I just Velcro the straps around my belt and it works well enough for me. Makes for a nice light for long hikes, the run time outweighs the weight of the light for me as I need no extra batteries.One note but might be perceived and not real: seems to hold charge best when you keep the light unplugged when not in use.Recommend for anyone who has the original battery, plus having two batteries means it’s never an issue on longer rides. Keeps you good and visible at night.

I ordered this battery twice and both times it did not come with the charger when selecting the bundle version. The battery works great though. I would give 5 stars if I received the charger.
