Well built low cost transfer Switch option when Interlock cant be used - my main disconnect is an independent enclosure separate of both subpanels. 1 hour installation with electrician saying he had never seen this type TS and was impressed. My order was not shipped with 31mm plugs to close unused holes in cabinet bottom. Found these, Amazon, worked perfectly: Uxcell 4Pcs Silicone Plugs, Rubber Round Snap in Locking Hole Plugs for 30-33mm

Good box for the price. Easy to wire with a good selection of knockouts to get it where you need to. I had to cut the ties inside to get some length and route the wires thru the top knock out. Wiring was straight forward if you know your basic electricity. Power went out today for the first time and I plugged it in to my solar generator and flipped the switches and all circuits worked like a charm. Very happy with it.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Quality is okay but it does start to rust after 2 years of installed outdoors. Also, the wire quality is meek, frayed wire.

I ordered this transfer switch not really knowing much about it from the description. Here’s the facts. It comes with about 4 feet of #12 stranded wire already hooked up. It also comes with a little over 3 feet of about 1” plastic flex, a straight connector and a 90 degree connector. I didn’t use this plastic flex. I used 3/4” aluminum flex with standard flex connectors. The wires fit fine in this size flex. Installation is easy and straightforward. I highly recommend this product. This transfer switch is quite basic but it is well built and performing the job I needed. I see no issues with the switches nor with the circuit breakers. Everything is tightly in place and neatly assembled.I only used three of the four at this time, but every device on the circuits work as if they were still directly connected in the house breaker panel.Cons: Wires could be a little longer. I had to pigtail wires to make the connections but then I have a recessed box and needed to go through drywall to get to a knockout and fish in the wires. Flimsy conduit, but it works. YMMVOverall I say it was money well spent.

I purchased this on Amazon's Day special ($119). It seems to be well-built and works as expected. I had it installed outside. The only thing I wish came with it was plugs for the bottom cutouts. My electrician added them for me, but they should come with it, in my opinion.I would recommend and even my electrician said it seems well-built and was easy to install

I Wanted To Like This But Found It To Be Too Dangerous To Use.This Has Average Quality Components But Has Extra Round Holes On BottomSurface With No Covers Supplied.The Real Deal Breaker For Me Is The Selector Switches Are Poorly Mounted.They Punched 1 Long Rectangular Hole In The Cover, And Left Too Much Slop ToSecurely Mount The Switches.When The Switches Are Used To Select Between Generator/Line,The Switch Come Loose From The Panel And Is Pushed Into Box Along With Your Finger.I Do Not Feel Comfortable Using This. I Will Look For Another Similar Item.
